i guess the reason it's done on the internet is cuz it's VERY unrealistic that people would actually go out and watch sumting like this........i would much rather just sit here and listen to some b.s. and not just read about it all day on this board !!

no doubt people would not want to come see somethin like this but who would come are the people participating........ as far as the bay rap and we wonder its just a generalization....... it doesnt matter how good u may rap its the team behind it. u got to get out there in traffic to do the thang or have enough of a budget to pay someone to do it for you........ that and half the cats talkin like they really livin got a 9-5 and thats what pays the bills...... nothin wrong with it but keep it real....... how many really are these days..... it sounds real good though...... if u takin this personell and thats anyone readin this, it aint my fault.......... oh yeah we did push about 7,000 cds last year combined with plot mission 4 loot, fat steve and our side of the state............... and know they werent all soundscanned for the haters that may want to look it up.... but we did get in the streets cause in the end thats the support that counts....... not u punk rocks........................

i don't want to saturate this thread with how to bring the bay back, cuz i don't rap..........but i just think HARD WORK & CREATIVITY go along way........which people say they have, but lack it, and it shows in their music and promotion........when Flip was underground he was selling 100,000 independant !!

unrealistic? i guess you have never been to an mc battle, and yes many people would go out and watch it. you said you would rather listen online, well you would only listen bc you are entertained right? it is that same entertainment you get while listening on your computer times 10 when you see it done live. if you love rap you gotta make it out to a battle, i guaruntee you will enjoy it fam.
i am with high records, why not set up a battle at a venue? you are all bay area residents, find a central location in either oaktown or sf. i am not against what yall are doing, after all yall are having fun and killing time. im with that, thats coo. but as high records says, if yall wanna keep it real too, then why not take it to another level and battle face to face?
yall are all about ur paper right, well someone needs to put together a heavyweight rap battle in the bay and get as many emcees to roll through as you can. im willing to bet that you will get tons of heads to come out, but you will also be doing bay rap a big favor. make it a monthly thing that all bay rap fans will go to, start a tradition.
