Krizz is MUCH more talented than Kutt imo. I got a lot of love for Kutt...but he's just a hood rapper. Krizz is the whole package. And why get an R&B singer when Krizz can manipulate his voice to do pretty much any sound. R&B, Reggae, Metal....the list goes on man. Tech obviously has the best flow....but Krizz is a big reason Strange is what it is. Think of the number of hooks the man has been on with Strange. And we as true Tech fans know Krizz is the man on the hooks....but SO many people don't know this. And I think Vitiligo was the best release from Strange last year. It was original imo. So...give credit where credit is do...could you imagine him NOT doing what he does? I don't even wanna think about it. Funkra is what it's about.
Vitiligo was nearly the weakest thing put out last year, and if you caught me on the right day, I would even say The Plott Thickens was better. Krizz may be able to "manipulate his voice" but it's still very clear that it's him. And regardless of how many ways he can do a hook, it wouldn't hurt anything to get a female to do a solo hook from time to time, to give a completely different sound than what Krizz can give. And honestly... I was feeling the Vance Laroy hooks on Word On Tha Streets more than 75% of the hooks they have had Kaliko do over the past few years. Kutt isn't as one dimensional as you seem to believe either.
.......that's the problem though. He's on way to many. Its really started to add to the overall repitiveness of Tech's music. He's making more and more party/sex songs, and Krizz does the hook to virtually all of them. You could play like ten of em right after the other, and it'd just sound like one long ass track.
And yeah, Vance Laroy was nice on S&S's albums.
