Man you might get something hella random and usually small with your publishing lined up like that out here, but let's keep it real, you aint gettin royalties like that in the Bay except for from a very specific few artists. As a producer I NEVER saw royalties until I took it outside the Bay and I've fucked with damn near everyone. You think Thizz Ent. or some shit like that is really gunna break off all producers and features with royalties on a consistent basis? Hell no. You can register all your Bay shit with ASCAP and you aint gettin shit until you're on MY Ghetto Report Card or something.

A lot of cats make the mistake of not pursuing college radio stations or other mediums around the country. It's not just major radio and TV that pays artists...it's every medium out there. I have boys (rappers) in San Jose who have seen nice checks from ASCAP and not ONCE have they been on KMEL, 94.9, Power 106 in LA, or any movie/tv show. And other cats think if a dude isn't on the major radio stations, he isn't doin' shit.

A lot of artists and producers out here have no business sense. You know how many folks do shit with each other without paperwork? You know how many times somebody has come to my spot to get work from me without wanting to sign an agreement?
