Tom Cable needs to go. Obviously though in hindsight they should have used that Jimmy Graham money on actual decent lineman. His couple catches a game can easily go to Willson or whomever.
As far as the d-line, shit, I'd like to chalk most of that up to the defense getting worn the fuck down in 100° weather - 6 straight points or something like that by the offense, most were probably three and outs. You can't do that to the defense. But they gave up some long runs against the niners the week prior so its something more fundamentally wrong. Idk but they SEEM small, like they were just getting manhandled by the Titans o-line in the second half. So here's the thing, you can be a small defensive front but usually that means speed and that means sacks/pressure/forcing turnovers which isn't happening either. So i don't know what is going on.
Definitely too soon to scream the sky is falling, as we've seen this story before where it takes 4-6 weeks to get their shit together, but definitely enough BIG problems to worry. O-line, no running game, d-line, Jeremy Lane sucks. Its frustrating. Only real bright side seems to be the offense can get things together when they play up tempo.
I was so excited about the quantity of talented RBs this pre season but now its clear there is Carson and Prosise. Lacy hasn't even played past couple games! I guess it doesn't matter when there is no blocking so you can only use guys who can make positives out of negatives and the only people so far capable of that are Carson and Prosise.
