Darrel Bevell has worked his way to the top of my shit list. He schtick is growing tired.
grrr, 3 weeks in a row now the same bullshit calls at goal. did you see the last play of the game? lynch was dominating with first down after first down, we get to goal, whats the last play? THAT FAGGOT DESIGNED WILSON ROLLOUT. thank god wilson gave himself up as fast as he did, then they kicked it afterwards and won. but i wanted to see them punch that shit in there with lynch to seal the game with a td. it could be argued thatd be stupid and reckless and at the first down so close the only possible play to be called is field goal for the win. any other game id agree 9999 / 10,000 times. but haushka kicks low and field goals are never 100% either. and lynch had over 40 yards in that final overtime drive alone. he had all the steam in the world and it was worth letting lynch try to seal game with a rush TD, worth possibly fumbling and losing, or being stopped. hell it was worth even going for it if it had been taken to 4th down and whatever, to get what a game winning lynch TD would mean to lynch and signify for the team.
im sure everyone is glad they made the statistically and historically correct decision to kick it in for the W... but i would have tried to punch it in there even if it meant possibly losing the game. /end rant
im hard on bevvell but there has to be something going on. lynch isnt 100% we found out, so they must be either preserving his health or saving him for playoff time. a lot of the excessive passing had to do with lynch coming out of the game for awhile, and one article i read said he was sick during the game, but its still frustrating. i drunkenly told a friend before preseason started i think lynch might wear down right at playoff time. god whyd i say that shit lol.
another W, another week to wonder if we truly suck on offense or just cursed with injuries and circumstance. another week our opponent figured out how to carve up and embarass the defense, yet they came through when it absolutely mattered.
