No home game worries me. Only games I can see potential losses are SF on the road and call me crazy but ATL on the road (they still have talent despite their record). Of course if the o-line keeps playing like they did on Monday all bets are off.

Because the Saints actually have an offense (hopefully the Hawks D rips Brees apart)

Because they a top 5 NFL QB and the best TE in the league. They also have a top 10 defense to go with that offense, something the Saints have lacked for the last few years.

With the o-line as bad as it has been I'd say any game is loseable.

Are offensive numbers are way less than what I was hoping for going into the season. Lynch get's 8 rushes against one of the worst run defenses in the league? Rice is out, Harvin hasn't proven anything yet and we still don't have a for sure time when he'll be back. Baldwin's been a beast but hasn't been thrown to as much as I think they should. Wilson is even getting hit on quick passing plays. That has nothing but trouble written all over it.

If we didn't have such a fuckin sweet Defense I don't even want to think what our record might be.

It's easy to see why though cuz when you look at the schedule, ON PAPER, that's the next "tough" game:

Buccs
@Falcons
Vikings
Saints

Seattle looked atrocious against the Rams so obviously any team could be a problem if they play like that again but we all do it - look at the schedule and mark off Wins and Losses.

I am definitely worried about ATL, shit any road game scares me right now. And at this point with SF trailing by 1 game we literally can't afford to lose any game.

I know this sounds super cliche but Seattle needs to get back to the basics and just ground and pound. Give Marshan about 25-30 carries this week. The play calling has been too erratic lately; too many pass calls in typical run scenarios. When the o-line is struggling you want to run often since run bblocking is much more basic and less complicated than pass protection. Just about any defense will eventually get worn down against Lynch and he'll break free as he usually gets better as the game goes on. No more passing on first and second down - feed the beast and let him break down the d-line which will of course opens up the play action pass when needed.

ive been yelling that at the tv for awhile lol. its like they try 3 runs 'well run is out, pass is all we got'. lynch needs at least 25 carries every game, he breaks down the defense and wears them out. then again we need to work on our time of possession and thats mostly the oline but still

fuck that. also was last week the week they ran with robert turbin 3 downs in a row? so stupid. he should only be used every now and then to mix it up, or when lynch and the FB have already worn down the D. hes like the late shaun alexander, if the blocking is perfect he'll make a good cut or two and easily get the first down. hes not going to truck anyone or break a lot of tackles though. i think he should be in there with lynch too, not just when lynch needs a breather. its too obvious when lynch goes out and they send him in. i dont know what that kinda formation would be, but they should think about it. or at least have michael robinson in there with him when hes healthy and give him carries too so they dont know if its going to be a lynch / fullback type run or speedy juke type run from turbin. it seems they were doing that a lot when our run game was hot last year and forgot all about it this year. id rather be frustrated by failed runs then see russell get sacked repeatedly

49ers were struggling, they went back to the basics ground and pound, and now theyre superbowl contenders all over again. if we cant do that, then either bevvell is an idiot or pete carroll is for not questioning it and allowing it to happen. i thought this rams game would have been the game they used the run, but i dunno the first half was real weird. almost like they were punishing lynch for when he flipped off the sideline. it was just all really weird

Seems to me Darrell Bevell has been trying to be too cute, trying too hard to be unpredictable. Like hey we're at the one yard line let's have Russell Wilson roll out two times in a row because no one is expecting that! At the one yard line, first and goal with Marshan Lynch you don't need to be unpredictable, just punch it in. He did that the week prior too (couple of passses on 1st and 2nd on the 1).

How about some draw plays and screen passes too? Those always help against the pass rush. Just some real basic shit.

thats when marshawn flipped off the sideline last week, lol. like really you dont trust me to get it in there? then they do even worse with those designed rollouts, not even option plays it was a designed play, it had to have been something going on. carroll said ' i was frustrated too' talking about being there frustrated with lynch on the sideline. well wtf, if hes frustrated howd it happen a second time? hes the coach, he shouldn't have let it happen a second time if he actually was frustrated. carroll is a great motivator and has done amazing stuff for this teams confidence, but he needs to step up in those situations and be an nfl coach. /end rant lol

Yeah we did bad when we tried to let kaep take over, just like whats going on there with Russel Wilson. if you guys get back to basics and run the ball then wilson will take way less hits and the offense will get going, but is Marshawn healthy?

i agree

marshawn hasnt really been 'healthy' for a couple years. hes always banged up and sitting out of practice, most notably for lower back issues and back spasms. they could just be exaggerating and sitting him out a lot to protect him from himself and preserve his body, rb's with his running style dont last forever... also i read this week hes been having knee issues, which could explain the rams game a little, but last i heard hes playing tomorrow. i dont even want to think about the possibility of lynch getting hurt, thatd be a kick in the balls lol. his stats arent overwhelming this year, but thatd be a huge huge loss

— Marshawn Lynch didn’t practice Wednesday and Thursday with a knee injury, but Carroll said he is fine and will play Sunday.
“He’s fine,” Carroll said. “He feels good. … His knee was a little sore and we took a look at some stuff, but he came out and was raring to go today. He got his walkthrough work early in the week so he’s ready for the game.”

WORD OF THE DAY: FRUSTRATION
Pete Carroll made it clear during his midweek Q&A session with the media that he was as frustrated as anyone – including Marshawn Lynch – that the team’s leading rusher got only eight carries in Monday night’s oh-so-close victory over the Rams in St. Louis.

In fact, during the flight back from St. Louis as Monday night was becoming Tuesday morning, Carroll sat with Lynch and shared his frustration.

“We were both sitting in frustration over the exact same issue,” Carroll said on Wednesday. “We didn’t get the ball to him in ways that we had hoped to because of the way the game turned out. There was no intention at all. Unfortunately, we didn’t get him going.”

You have to go all the way back to Week 2 in 2011 to find a game where Lynch carried fewer times for fewer than the 23 he had against the Rams – six for 11 in a 24-0 loss to the Steelers in Pittsburgh. His previous lows this season were 17 carries (four times) and 43 yards (in the season opener against the Panthers in Carolina).

“That’s not how we play,” Carroll said. “So hopefully we’ll do better this time.”

That would be in Sunday’s game against the winless Tampa Bay Buccaneers at CenturyLink Field.

Part of Lynch being limited was the fact that the Seahawks ran only 40 plays, and a big part of that was the fact that they converted a season-low 18 percent on third downs (two of 11).

Lynch does not talk to the media, but it’s pretty easy to read his body language. So it was apparent that eight carries for 23 yards isn’t enough – in either category – for a workhorse back who carried 315 times for a career-best 1,590 yards last season.

“I share the frustration with him,” Carroll said. “I don’t mind one bit him being frustrated about that. I was too.”

-----------------------------

lol im going to read between the lines and hope pete carroll is frustrated at bevvells choice to pass twice two weeks ago at the 1, and call two horrible designed rollouts again at goal vs the rams. i hope he isnt just being a politician about some weird behind the scenes shit, and lynch gets his carries this week, especially when at the goal. you can argue there weren't enough third down conversions to get lynch his carries but those goal line calls were idiotic. hope we dont see that shit tomorrow... i bet thered be a ton of boos at centurylink and bevvell will be looking real stupid if they try that shit again

lol i just remembered frank gore was frustrated as fuck too, then the niners had a game where he got his carries and they played fundamental niners ball and thats what got the win streak sparked. its crazy how similar the two teams are. seahawks need to learn from what the niners did or the upcoming game against them will be embarassing as fuck
