News flash to anybody who doesn't know:
Vast majority of white pro athletes = Republican (and not b/c of the $ they make, they've been conservative all their life)
Most of the political diversity in the sports world is sourced from its racial diversity. If you've got a whiteboy on a team you like, chances are he's down w/ Bush too so don't act surprised.
As for Mack Strong, I have no idea whether he is or not.

im pretty sure Mack Strong is, someone invited me to some church thing they had at Bellevue Community College and I went. Long story short, Mack was one of the pastors, he's a key figure in the church with helping the youth group etc. Shaun Alexander also helps out with their church sometimes. The impression I got was that church was very conservative, thats why I stopped going.
Not to mention both are from the south.

Well it's not like pro-athletes are known for their high intelligence levels anyways. They have been trained to be athletes since very young age and most never really cared about anything else (there are exceptions of course).
Alexander is a huge christian. Nice guy from what I hear. Goes to lots of churches and shit around Seattle. I think he belongs to a conservative church as well, but don't quote me on that.
Most athletes always say "I wanna thank god for blessing me" or someshit when they begin their interviews. Like a God really gives a fuck and thinks you're special cuz you can run fast and score a TD and gives you millions of dollars as a reward for your athleticism. LOL

I know I'm usually huge on the "prove it" "cite a source" bandwagon, but unfortunately this time I've got nothing. I wish I did, but individual voting information is obviously confidential. I've also never seen anybody do a poll or something.
That opinion is a vibe I've gotten throughout my life both in playing sports and watching. And you can get to the matter somewhat easily as well b/c information regarding voting patterns of whites vs blacks, males vs females etc for the general population has been done before, and the white male is the most conservative of that demographic.
But with Hasselbeck, it is interesting b/c he originally comes from one of the most liberal states in the USA, so his white-male stereotype overcame his Massachusetts stereotype in this instance.
