Ok look, this post is gettin real long and repetitive now, everybody wants to voice there opinions and speak on what they think is hate and what is not and what's called for and what's not, and this is getting way way far away from what this post was originally intended for, which was to SHOW YOU the new Sand cover, to promote his upcoming album, not to ask should it be changed, or what did he change his name, or what do you think of it, although personally being an artist, I do appreciate feedback of course, how do you know if you're improving as a designer or if people are feeling your work if you don't get feedback, but just blatantly saying some stupidly negative shit about the work, then that IS HATE, if you're just posting back some comments like hey I don't like that font, or this might look better like this, then that's fine, but when you come out and say some dumb shit like that looks like "doo doo" (the comment made by Esssqubed which me and him have cleared up) but that shit was out of line, or to say that Sand is losing sales because of the cover, and people aint gonna buy it cuz of the fonts, thats bullshit, who are you to know how it's gonna sell, when it comes down to it, it's all about the music product, half the people don't even keep the cover, they throw the cd in a case and put it in they car. And as far as the word Hater, yes it does get thrown around too much, and like I said, if you just givin feedback, fine, but if you blatantly sayin some dumb shit to make me look bad, make my work look bad, or the artist or record label that i'm working for look bad, then that IS HATING.
Anyways I know I'm kinda rambling but there has been a lot of replies since I last spoke up. Let's bring it back to square one though, it all comes down to, the client likes the work, that being SAND (MR. SANDMAN) and GET GONE RECORDS, so here is his new cover for his new album SUBPOENA, enjoy, and support that when it comes out.
