They've been steppin their physical game up a bit, but I know what you mean...they could go harder on opponents. Jody Shelly has definitely been a great addition for intimidating.

Pens??? Are you from Cali?

I just saw Jody Shelly on Friday for the first time (I don't have TV, so I only get to see games every once in a while or listen to them on the radio), saw he was missing some teefus and knew he's a tough guy. Guys like Roenick and Rivet are also very useful because they will throw the body around and don't take shit from anyone. Rivet is probably their most important "player protector" and he always kicks ass when he drops the gloves. He's great.

Yeah I'm from here, but Mario Lemieux was my hero as a kid so I've always been a Penguins fan. I just have a lot to say about the Sharks because they're closer and I see/hear more from them. I think I'm more of a Sharks fan than I want to admit though.

you nailed it talkin about Shelly,Roenick, and Rivet. Rivet is almost becoming one of my favorites on the team. lol @ teefus....

the 'go pens' comment makes more sense now.

i kinda wish we were on the road.. because the record is better on the road. Then again.. we have a chance to make the home record better. We're gonna start playing the pacific now.. maybe a chance to grab the pacific division title.

Sharks are probably the only team that are going to go far in the bay.. farther than the warriors.. if this keeps up.. first championship in the bay area in a long time.. and i mean this professional FSN bay area teams.

Damn, 2 loses in a row... not a good way to head into the playoffs.
Gotta play Calgary first round...
We've kinda had a hard time with the Flames this year, this should be a good series. I think with the defensive additions, Sharks will be alright though.

It's better to get the losses out of their system now rather than later. Every team needs to be reminded they're not invincible. That's why the Penguins loss today is bittersweet for me. The playoffs will be awesome though, and I think the SJ-Calgary series will be one of the most exciting. I will be spending a lot of time in bars and spending entirely too much money on beer in the next two months. If only I had a television.

this is a real bad way to start the playoffs, im glad i didnt pay much attention in the regular season. Theyve choked so hard the last 2 years its hard to really take them serious and tonight is no exception, sad thing is didnt even know the game was on till i got home from work at 9:10 or so.
