Divisional Wins are the most important......
No, they arent. They are only there for tiebreakers.

And that is my gripe with the NFL. Is there really any point in playing divisional games? A team could go 6-0 in the division, and 6-10 overall, and its all for nothing. On the other hand, a team could go 0-6 in the division, go 10-6 overall, and represent their division in the playoffs.

The same thing happens in the MLB and in NBA, so why even bother with division records? They really are irrelevant in the big picture.

i hear you. during the regular season you are playing for a division championship. it should be set to conferences as in AFC plays all AFC opponents during the regular season and playoffs and the NFC does the same. only in the superbowl would you play a team from another conference. this way everyone in each conference plays eachother once. something to this effect is where my vote would be.

division wins are important but do not determine the leader of that division. it sort of defeats the purpose.

its funny because as BAD as the raiders have played, we are only one win behind your team, imagine that!

a win this weekend and a for sure loss by you guys this weekend and we both have three wins. nothing to write home about but to you it means alot i see.
How convenient, you left out the fact you have 2 more losses as well.

By the way, every team in the "weak ass NFC West" except STL>>>>> raiders.

I think JaMarcus wants out of the Raiders though....

when Warren Sapp left the raiders..he said he felt disgusted by the organization and he also said the only way the raiders organization will move forward when there's a change of ownership...

IMO, it's not the players...it's fucking Al Davis and his old school style of playing, the guy has problems. If Al Davis were to let his coaches do what they need to do, I guarantee you that the raiders will make shit happen on the field....

Al has to take some of the blame because he's in charge of operating the whole organization. But the coaches and the players have to take some of the blame too. I mean these are talented players and we're not getting the best out of them.

How do we go from giving up 9 points to giving up 38? I don't think we're prepared to play. We still can't stop the run and Al just brought in Seymour. They need to put Seymour at DT and keep him there. We gave up over 300 yards rushing and most of it was right up the gut. And where is T. Kelly? This dude was supposed to be one of the best DT's in the game (according to Al and Rob Ryan).
