Keep up beat, that's good.

Rudy didn't even campaign in the state. His poor finish was a surprise to no one following politics.

Huckabee was going to win.

The surprise was Thompson & McCain with 13 percent each. Both out performed expectations. That should help McCain going in to NH. If McCain wins NH or comes in a strong & close second and Thompson finishes back it would not be surprising to see Thompson drop out and back McCain to help him in the south.

If Ron Paul doesn’t do better in NH than he did in Iowa he’s dead in the water and will solidify my point about his viability as a candidate.

No it just made me think you were silly. If you are in a thread about voting and political candidates why are you saying "If I were to vote I'd vote for Ron Paul" if you're not going to vote? Why would you say "If I were to vote I'd vote for Ron Paul" if you're anti-capitalist. Just seems silly.
I may have spoken too soon saying that I would vote for him if I voted--I just like some of his ideas. Unless you're a complete retard, you would know that the capitalist part would never allow me to vote for him. I've said that in the past too, so maybe that's why it was confusing that I said that.

I chose to address your support for Ron Paul because that is what the fucking thread is all about.
Again you speak of this support. And again I ask, how the fuck am I supporting him? I didn't give his campaign money, I didn't go to any of his rallies or meetings, I'm not helping his HQ or even promoting his name to anyone. If you call me a supporter again, I'll just be forced to realize you're a fucking moron that CAN'T FUCKING READ.

When each sentence contradicts the one before what are people supposed to think? Do we pick sentence one or sentence two? I picked both and bet you just didn't know what you were talking about. I guess I should have picked neither and assumed retarded. :ermm:
Or you should have just read everything as a whole, rather than 2 sentences, RETARD. If you have ever read shit I've said, you would know I don't support capitalism. 2-0-Sixx thought the same thing as you, until I reminded him about how I am against capitalism, and that would then in turn force me not to vote for Ron Paul.

I can change my opinion as OFTEN as I like. That's my prerogative. You don't have to agree, I don't really care if you do. But, if I tell you that I'm against capitalism, and that I could never vote for Ron Paul because of that...YOU SHOULD REALIZE THAT CANCELS OUT EVERYTHING ELSE...SEEING THAT I SAID SOMETHING LIKE..."I CAN'T VOTE FOR HIM IF HE SUPPORTS CAPITALISM."

But I guess you can't put 2 and 2 together and get 4. You get 1 or 3 or some shit.

Just put me on ignore so you won't have to read what I say, cause you can't put shit together very well--or you just like trying to be DIRTY SHOEZ the 2nd.

Its not upbeat, its realistic. I never thought Ron Paul had viable chance of actually getting the Republican nomination, or even really contending for it. My desire for his campaign was to strengthen and add legitimacy to the libertarian philosophy, which I believe it has done.

Politicians, to some degree, cater their political philosophies to what the people want. The more people that are saying "we want the government out of our lives" the more mainstream politicians are going to embrace that in their political actions regardless of political party affiliations.

I didn’t say I was surprised at Rudy’s poor finish, I said I was surprised that he did not beat Ron Paul.

5th place only 8% - anyone? anyone?

Who saw the Republican debate last night? The crowd openly laughed (loudly!) at Ron Paul when he was talking about the recent straits of hormuz incident with Iran. People can't even help but laugh at this guy.

As for comoballer1121:
He is proposing a form of ultra-nationalism, in which the U.S. is concerned solely with preserving its own wealth and extraordinary advantages, getting out of the UN, rejecting any international prosecution of US criminals (for aggressive war, for example), etc. That's isolationism. If you are a member of the world community and benefit from being a member of the world community; then you have a responsibility to the world community.

I would laugh too if I didn't understand what he was saying.

I noticed how every time McCain or Guiliani rebuttal to Paul they totally put words in his mouth.

I love how Ron Paul pointed out how America treats Isreal like a Spoiled Step-Child (hence the word treats).....
and McCain goes off talking about how Isreal is a great place and how dare anyone say there are our step child.

Ron Paul never directly said they were our step child, just that we treat them like one and there goes the idiotic crowd cheering for McCain.

Just like Ron Paul said, "with McCain we will be in Iraq 10 years from now. Go tell you middle schoolers they will be fighting a war when they get older"
