How does everyone feel about all this. Do you think Ron is really in it for the best interest of the people? Do you think hes really trying to look out for us? Do you think theres a possibility that he can beat out Gulliani and even contend with Clinton or Obama?

How about the real I.D.? What are your feelings about that the NAU and the AMERO?

Mainly do you think America is screwing itself?

NO.

NO.

NO. YES, if he won the republican primary - which he can't and won't do. Clinton and Obama aren't electable nationally.

How about the real I.D.?
BAD.

What are your feelings about that the NAU and the AMERO?
Never going to happen simplistic scare tactic for the internet gullible aka Ron Paul crowd.

Depends on who's america you're talking about. In general though, yes, but it has nothing to do with Ron Paul, Real ID, NAU, or AMERO.

Use the search option on this forum. There are a lot of topics about Ron Paul and various conspiracies. And people who take pro and con positions and in some cases provide very good explanations about why they believe what they do.

I saw Ron Paul on the Colbert Report today, I didn't realize he voted against the Iraq War and the Patriot Act....AND this fucker is a Republican from Texas....Either he's lying or he's drinking different water than the rest of Texas.

Ron Paul understands America's economy better than most candidates.

Unfortunately he will not come close to winning.

Although he still gets my vote based on his views on the war, the economy (American dollar), and use of government in our lives (he thinks the Government is to involved in our lives).

Agreed. He seems like he really wants the gov't to stay the fuck out of people's lives. And he's for the right to bear arms....I was really surprised to hear some of the stuff he said.....he will NEVER win in this country, but if he did, i imagine things would get a little bit better.

I've heard too much about Ron Paul.

Does this guy want to get rid of big corporations?
Get rid of their ties to the govt. so lobbyists can't influence?
De-regulate business?

What really?

No way, he loves corporations. He wants them to have more of a free hand.

Get rid of their ties to the govt. so lobbyists can't influence?
He'd rather do away with as much government as possible. Thus decreasing the need for lobbyists and their influence.

De-regulate business?
As much as possible. He is anti-regulation. The forces of the "free market" provide all the regulation needed.

Can't you fill in someone's name?

I do agree, that if you don't like any of the candidates that "none of them," is a legitimate answer. Nobody should be forced to pick the lesser of two evils--but there should also be enough candidates who represent other ideologies than Dem/Repub or even Indie and Lib...

If I was going to vote, I'd probably end up voting for Ron Paul....but really, I'd rather vote for someone who has pretty similar views to mine, and I don't think there is anyone...Ron Paul would be the closest (as far as getting rid of IRS,fed tax, dept of energy etc etc etc, but i'm not all for businesses raping people for profits)--that I've actually read about so far (I don't plan on voting but I might).

If you look at some old George W. Bush speeches, he spoke specifically of situations you wouldn't want someone to be your leader and later did the same things. So what does that tell us about politicians and their promises and principles.

I like Ron Paul. I am inspired by the thoughts of an America that truly values liberty and Freedom (hence the screen name) Thus far, the only thing I've heard from Ron Paul I don't like is the wanting to do away with the Student Loans for Americans wanting to be better educated.

I don't like anyone that feels participating in the American electoral system on a national level can create significant progress/change.

Democrat, Republican, Green, Socialist, Libertarian or otherwise.

http://www.siccness.net/vb/showthread.php?t=261922

No one who shares my ideology participates in the U.S. electoral process. They know it is a sham. They know it is a pacifier. They know it is a tool to propagate the lie of democracy in this country. They know that it is tokenism.

There are a very few candidates that share some similar positions that come close to my belief system, but they don't share enough for me to seriously vote for them. Because the big differences are the deal breakers.

I'd have to agree with you on that. I don't think there's any candidate that has close enough ideals to my own for me to want to vote.

Ron Paul is probably the closest, I heard he wants to decriminalize or legalize marijuana--which is a big thing, plus the guns, getting rid of irs, fed tax etc....but i fucking HATE capitalism.

I was just trying to make a point by saying you could fill someone's name in...IE: YOUR OWN (I've done that before, lol).

There hasn't been a candidate that I really wanted to vote for in a long time, I mean I voted for David Cobb, but that's just because his ideals were "close" to mine, not the same. But I also think if you wait for someone who's exactly like you, you're wasting your time and life....if you're waiting for that person, maybe it means you should get off your ass and do something about it.
