awax is almost always sick but his shit doesnt vary too much. hes got similar subject matter pretty much everywhere you look. I like his flow at lot. but compared to Woodie i wouldnt even see him nearly on the same level. The difference is pretty extreme... i cant listen to woodie and not have my blood getting hotter and the intensity of his style just sink in. That fool seriously ripped it up harder than almost anyone.

I wish Shadow would drop a solo album though, he's for sure the sickest of the east coco camp in my eyes behind woodie, ever since the later NE's.

Anyone know why he killed himself? I know it's a sin to ask in East Co Co. Forum, people act crazy and give you that "be respectful bullshit". IMO he was a public figure and people should know what happened. Also whatever happened to that bench in his memory that was supposed to go up, did that ever happen?

you can read between the lines on why he did it on the east coco forum. needless to say, there were at least like 500 people asking "why" and of course some will respond in anger. i'm not gonna defend what he did, but his music i always will. you won't find another artist/producer like woodie in the bay, simple as that. also, he was a prime example on distinguishing what's real and what's fake, something that is lacking today completely.

After that he went up to Oregon and smoked a bunch of meth and blew his brains out

Woodie killed himself the night of his fiance's funeral. Aparantly he was very drunk at the time. (this is what i heard from a good source, it could be wrong) He was in Oregon
Keep in mind that the guy has lost many people in his life, 2 good friends, his sister (i think)
Woodie talked about killin himself on many songs to, so it shouldnt be that much of a suprise.

we've all been through shit, suicide is a cowardly act

dont tell me you werent dissapointed when you heard woodie killed himself

even i was disappointed, all that hard work and then blap.. he put himself out
