Lebron makes everyone around him better and does it more effectively than Melo. Melo can score, but he is no where near as good as Lebron at setting up his teammates. I think Lebron plays better defense also. I understand how you feel about the hype around the man and also how Melo plays for your team, but dont let that interfere and make you give biased opinions.

melo hardly gets reconized just like ray allen,elton brand,paul pierce(having his best year)... get the fuck outta here. ovbously you haven't seen enough of lebron(he is a one of a kind) and i can name alot of SF that are just as good as melo.... Ron Artest,Rashard Lewis,J-rich,Paul Pierce

Let me clarify ..

No on-ball "D". That's great he's in the top 5 in steals, but that comes from playing the passing lanes. Let's not talk about those 3 jumpers that Kobe hit on him to seal that game against the Lakers...

Like I said before, ANYBODY can be a good help defender (Larry Hughes is a perfect example of this) but not everybody can lock someone down. Kobe can lock you down. I'll actually go as far as to say that Lebron's on-ball "D" is suspect.

Ima sum it all up. Overall Kobe is a better player because he plays with more experience. The advantages that Kobe has over LeBron James comes with experience. Give LeBron James a couple of seasons, he'll be on the level that Kobe is on now.
