EDJ...look at the numbers. I don't feel like going to look for them, but if you look...Lebron is better in every way.

You keep saying Melo is better...in what way is he better?

James---PPG 31.1* REB 7.0* AST 6.4* FG% 49.1*

Anthony----PPG 25.4 REB 5.3 AST 2.5 FG% 46.1

Anthony is not even a top 10 player. He's shown improvment on his scoring. Other then that he hasn't done much other then ride with that nuggets sqaud to the playoffs. Failed to impress anyone in the playoffs.

I AM. LET'S COMPARE NUMBERS. IF HE'S IMPROVED, THEN THAT MEAN HE'S BETTER THAN LEBRON CAUSE IT ON AVERAgE THEY BASICALLY ABOUT THE SAME. SO WHICH ONE IS IT?
how are him and lebron the same on average? he's improved over last season, and he's not at his full potential, but he is not better than kobe or lebron...

I JUST gOT ONE QUESTION:

HAS LEBRON BEEN TO THE PLAY-OFFS?

A SIMPLE YES OR NO WILL SUFFICE.

Don't like the numbers huh?

You sound typical. Defending Melo only because he plays for Denver. You know damn well that if Lebron was on the Nuggets you would be defending him to no end.

It's not as simple as a yes or no answer. If you can't see the impact that Lebron has had on his team...then I don't know.

One thing you're not mentioning about Melo is that Denver has gotten better players over the last 3 years. Miller, Boykins, Martin, Camby...and you got Karl as your coach now.

Who has Lebron had? Himself and Ilgauskas.

HAS LEBRON BEEN TO THE PLAY-OFFS?
That qeuston will be YES. for this year.
wins over miami,detroit,indiana(3times) not to mention beating the suns. Impact? his stats show that lebron impacts the rebounding. He impacts the ball movement on this team. He impacts the scoring on this team. Theres nothing that lebron can't do. Thats why you see 30 plus with 7 across averges. Cause night in and night out lebron does everything to help impact his team which the reason why we are on 7(without larry hughes) game winning streak. Are record stands as 27-17. Can carmelo impact the ball movement of the denver nuggets? the answer is no fuckin way. 2 assist is his avg per game. Shit.. even lebron out rebounds carmelo. If lebron has a bad night and only scored say... 16 pts.... thats fine. why? he probally dished out 10 assist along with 10 rebounds. Melo can't do that night in and night out. If melo scores 16 pts. Then thats it. Probally 5 ribs and thats it. You see the difference between the impacts? If you had a pick from lebron or melo or kobe. Who you gonna pick? im gonna pick lebron. The man can do everything. He is a floor general. Melo is not. Melo is gonna avg his tiny we we 20 or plus pts a night. While lebron is gonna be throwing up 30 plus with 7 across shooting 50% from the field.

LOL@CBRENNAN04,

"BEEN" AND "WILL BE" ARE TWO CONTRADICTORY THANgS. SO SHOVE YOUR "YES" BAK TO WHERE IT CAME FROM, WITH YOUR WISHFUL THINKIN' ASS. AND I DIDN'T ASK FOR A 2 PAgE ESSAY. THAT'S WHY I SAID, "A SIMPLE YES OR NO WOULD SUFFICE(MEANIN' "WOULD DO", IN CASE YOUR COMPREHENSION AND VOCABULARY LEVEL AIN'T THAT ELABORATE)", BUT YOU STILL LIED ABOUT THAT.

gIIMPY PIMP,

YOU STRESSED, "Don't like the numbers huh?"

THEY DON'T BOTHER ME, THEY REALLY HEAD TO HEAD EXCEPT MELO BEEN TO THE PLAY-OFFS TWICE.

THEN YOU STRESSED, "You sound typical. Defending Melo only because he plays for Denver. You know damn well that if Lebron was on the Nuggets you would be defending him to no end."

THAT'S MANDATORY. BUT THE WAY I SEE IT(JUST LIKE THE CITY OF DENVER) WE ALWAYS BEEN OVER-LOOKED. MELO DON'T gET NO KIND OF CREDIT. LOOK AT THIS POST. IF I WOULDN'T OPENED MY MOUTH, WHO WOULD?

THEN YOU STRESSED, "It's not as simple as a yes or no answer. If you can't see the impact that Lebron has had on his team...then I don't know."

AND MELO HASN'T IMPACTED DENVER FROM JUMP? LEBRON HAS YET TO TAKE HIS TEAM TO THE PLAYOFFS.

THEN YOU STRESSED, "One thing you're not mentioning about Melo is that Denver has gotten better players over the last 3 years. Miller, Boykins, Martin, Camby...and you got Karl as your coach now."

HOW YOU KNOW MELO AIN'T MADE THEM BETTER? AND MELO WAS DOIN' gOOD BEFORE gEORgE KARL WAS EVEN THOUgHT OF. SO THAT AIN'T AN EXCUSE? SO WHAT YOU SAYIN' THAT LEBRON IS PLAYIN' WITH A BUNCH OF SCRUBS? I BELIEVE OTHA-WISE. THAT'S WHY THEY'VE WON SCHNEVEN IN A ROW RIgHT?

THEN YOU STRESSED, "Who has Lebron had? Himself and Ilgauskas."

SO YOU SAYIN' THE CAVALIERS ARE DOO-DOO?

They are not head to head...Lebron is better in every category.

Nobody mentioned Melo cause he wasn't part of the topic. Over-looked...maybe in your eyes. But I think most people would agree that Melo just isn't on the same level...yet.

I never said he hasn't. I think that he has...alot. And I already said why I think Lebron hasn't been to the playoffs.

I DO think that Melo has helped make them better. I think that's obvious. But you think he's been doing it by himself? You don't think that the addition of the other players has also helped...ALOT?

Yes, Melo was doing good for the ONE YEAR before Karl. But Karl is a great coach...and I think that he is making Denver...and Melo better.

As for Lebron playing with scrubs...I wouldn't call them scrubs...but they could have better players. Who would you take from Cleveland other than Ilgauskas...and maybe a healthy Hughes?

EDJ said:

lol...not doo-doo, but like I said...they could have better players. I really think that Lebron carries the Cavs...more than he should have to.

Look...I'm not saying that Melo isn't a good player. But to say that he is better than Lebron, or Kobe is just crazy. I know that you will feel otherwise regardless of what I say...but it's the truth. And most basketball fans outside of Denver would agree.

EDJ- I respect your opinion cuz you know your shit, but Lebron is on another level. Melo is good, but no where near Lebron. And you can't completely judge a player on Playoff appearances since it IS a team game and not Tennis or Bowling.

Kobe and Lebron is a toss up to me, although I like Lebron better.

^HOW YOU FIgURE? THEY BOTH CAME INTO THE LEAgUE AT THE SAME TIME. BUT I AgREE THAT BASKETBALL IS A TEAM SPORT, SO HOW CAN YOU INDIVIDUALLY JUDgE A PLAYER THAN? THEIR STATS ARE ABOUT THE SAME. THE ONLY DIFFERENCE IN THEIR CAREER, IS THAT MELO'S BEEN TO THE PLAYOFFS AND LEBRON HASN'T. BOY IS HE ON ANOTHA LEVEL.

gIMPY-PIMP,

TO MAKE IT TO POST-SEASON PLAY.
