Laugh if you want, but this is the second time in a span of a month that this type of issue has come up with songs that Ric Rock has produced. The Federation "Stunna's At Night" was stolen from (I think his name is) Syco from his MySpace page and now this. You act like this type of shit doesn't happen everyday. Person with money and clout steals idea from lesser known artist knowing they don't have the bread to fight it in court. If Rick Rock did it, I hope they sue his ass, because shaddy is shaddy. Just because you live in Sacramento and work with some Bay artist doesn't give you a fuck people over pass.

since rick has literally done thousands of songs, its gonna happen where someone claims this or that, but like i said, why dont ya wait to hear both songs to form a conclusion? if anyone can track down that other song, i'll post up the rick track

That's the exact reason why I don't have a MySpace page. It's a lose, lose situation. Even if you copyright your shit, if it gets jacked, most of us don't have that litigation bread that these artists and labels got.
Not only that but once a track is out there, it's not new & fresh anymore.

Myspace.com is a free-for-all for all the wannabe rappers & beat makers anyways.

Ps. Rick Rock is a real musician and has absolutely no need or reason to steal ideas from anyone else. His own creativity has earned him plaques. If the songs sound similar, or even the same for that matter, it's likely just coincidence (and this does happen from time to time).

personally..i consider myself a real artist/producer...who happens to have a myspace page like alot of REAL artists/producers..who use the site as a outlet to reach out to online fans...who really are the ones who are downloading all this shit..and burnin cds..and puttin shit in their i-pods to slap.
some of my people personally talked to producers who fuck wit the feds..and they were diggin my shit...and had heard of me thru dre...dont think nobodys heard of me...or im just some nobody ass nigga screamin for credit...just like i told yall before...its all about the fans...rick rock has done his thing..and nobody can hate on that...syko has done his thing and nobody can hate on that either...theres dirty politics in everything u do...nobody can stop nobody from doin shit..unless u go about it the LEGAL way...im not trippin off my situation..because LEGALLY my ass is covered..just dont think you gonna get breaded overnight...alotta shit goes into getting the right representation to present your case as a strong one...
but once again...shady...im just on the outside lookin in though...im still establishin myself..even though my sound is established thru hundreds and thousands of speakers every time a pill is popped...lol

you don't give up your rights. you just give MYSPACE the right to use your song. you don't give them the right to use your song and say that it was made by someone else completely.

Exactly

Thats why you get your material copyrighted before you put out.

Godz Gift? that sounds like a christian group

The song Street Raised beat does kinda sound like Hard On A Hoe.
good job finin them ElToroo5... as far as the 2 songs i put them on top of eachother and they are the same tempo with a clap, and other than that this will never even make it to court. they have no other things in common. i will admit that i like the song "street raised" and the cats got talent, but to even say that rick jacked that beat is laughable.
