Richard Seymour Traded to Raiders

Not to be an ass, and I'm not trying to talk shit, but why would he want to be a raider? You have to remember he's coming from the New England Patriots, a SuperBowl contending team. The raiders won't even make the playoffs. How would you feel if you got traded from a very good team to a team that has had the worst record since 2002? Plus, a lot of players don't like the raiders organization in general. Maybe he's one of them.
ALL THESE ARE VALID POINTS. IF MOST OF YOU NINER FANS JUST PRESENTED IT LIKE THE HOMIE FATAL INSTEAD OF ACTING LIKE SUCH LITTLE BITCHES ABOUT IT, I WOULDN'T SMASH ON YALL NEARLY AS MUCH.
THAT BEING SAID, THIS TRADE WILL WORK OUT FINE. SEYMORE IS GOING FROM THE MOST WINNING ORGANIZATION IN THE NFL SINCE 02 TO THE MOST LOSING ONE OVER THE SAME PERIOD OF TIME. IT'S GOING TO BE A SHOCK TO THE SYSTEM.
HERE IS HOW I SEE IT: HE'S GOT THE 3 RINGS, THE 5 PRO-BOWLS. AT THIS POINT, THE LAST THING HE CAN ACCOMPLISH IS COMING TO OAKLAND AND HELPING TO TURN A STRUGLING ORGANIZATION AROUND. THAT'S EXACTLY THE WAY AL IS GOING TO SELL IT TO HIM. AL AND SEYMORE WILL HAVE A SITDOWN AND SEYMORE WILL WALK AWAY IN AWE OF AL AND WANTING TO HELP OUT. THAT'S PRETTY MUCH THE WAY IT HAPPENS EVERY TIME MINUS RANDY MOSS.
THAT AND AL WILL MOST LIKELY BACK THE MONEY TRUCK UP AND OFFER A LONG-TERM DEAL. THAT MAKES MORE SENSE ANYWAY BECAUSE OTHERWISE WE'D ONLY HAVE SEYMORE FOR A SEASON. IT'LL TAKE US A FEW YEARS TO GET BACK TO OUR WINNING WAYS.

So their is no excuse for seymour to not show up after the raiders purposely restructured to other contracts to make room for richard. tom brady was saying how he was family and it sucked to see him leave, i got a feeling seymour feels like he got did dirty! Besides why would seymour want to play for the raiders for 3 million a year? also espn talking about seymour thinking about sitting out the year.

I haven't heard that, but just like Michael Crabtree, Seymour is NOT going to sit out the year. Not unless he's been drinking the kool-aid that Bellichek supplied and this is all a big plan to screw the raiders over by acquiring their draft pick, having Seymour sit out the year and return to New England next year. I highly doubt that. But I guess if anyone in the league was gonna pull some shit like that, it would be Bill Bellichek. Still, that's more than a bit much.
Seymour will play for the raiders whether he likes it or not. He might not want to accept a long-term contract, but he will play this year and if he does well he will get franchised and he will play for the raiders next year. After that, who knows.

I wouldn't want him to be a Raider if he doesn't want to be. Why hasn't Seymour spoken? The Patriots contradicted what Tom Cable said... Seymour doesn't have any issues with the Patriots other than sending him to the Raiders. Hopefully Cable isn't lying... and we should have had a contract worked out before the got damn trade, that way we know he would of wanted to come.
