Who's still playin Dead Space? lol

But yeah i agree, the game does feel a bit out-dated, especially the control scheme n half ass cover system.. I didnt buy it, my brother did.. I'am glad he did, and i have played the shit out of the game, but i probably will put in a few more hours and shelve it.

Dead space is a great game.

I think RE5 is hella fun. Only thing that bothers me is the controls. The aiming should of been like dead space, I hate completly stopping...just to aim.

I know, they all been like that and i love all RE games but at this point I think its just time to get a little more realistic. I just think it would of been cool to move and aim at the same time.

Yeah and if GTA3 was the same as GTA5 im sure hella people would be pissed.. It's called "improvement", something they really needed to do with the control scheme.
It is an improvement. Have you played RE games from the PS1 or PS2? You can change the control scheme to match the one from RE4 and it works best. The stop and shoot method used by capcom was a design choice they went with for the genre. It's supposed to create a situation of tension as this is supposed to be survival horror and not a run and gun shooter.

And I agree with WT. Get over it.

Oh im over it, it dosnt bother me too much.. But most people will agree (who isnt a RE fanboy) that the control scheme sucks, and is outdated.. Dont beleive me? Check out most the reveiws.

I can understand why they went with it on the older RE's, because those were actually survival horror games.. RE5 not so much, so since they switched up the genre why not change the controls a little bit too? Maybe scared of the fanboy retaliation idk.

So quit defending capcom, and just, get over it.

Nah, I prefer to go with the makers of the game.

Maybe it was them realizing they strayed too far from the franchise they created and wanted to retain a least one element of the franchise.

I am over it which is why I still own the game, and when given free time, spend time actually playing it. I'm defending Capcom because I understand that they were trying to do and told people to change the control scheme when they cried and bitched about the demo.

so i played through the whole game and really the one good thing is it seems there are a lot more boss type people you have to kill. Mercenary mode is the main reason why this game is decent cuz the story on this is gay as fuck and the cut scenes are lame to me. Yall already know how i feel about the controls lol but at least its the first resident evil in HD

Well ofcourse the makers of capcom are gonna defend their control scheme lol.. Even with all the complaints about the demo capcom still didnt wanna fix their control scheme.. Lazy mother fuckers, how you gonna defend a company like that? Thats the whole reason for a demo i thought was to get some feedback and build up some hype.. They built up the hype, but did nothing with all the feedback/suggestions they got from their fans.

I too still play this game, and enjoy it very much.. I'm on my 2nd play thru, but it jus really sucks you gotta stop and shoot, hold down like 3 bottons to knife someone, no relaod botton, and the weapon menu shouldnt be in real time, i mean, really that is annoying as fuck lol.. It jus seems like a next gen game with last gen controls.

umm, hold down one button then press the knife button. so only 1 is held down not 3. hold down the aim button and press X or box (ps3) to reload. inventory is coo becuase in a middle of a gun fight or whatever you dont have time to pause the game and look thru your inventory and then use a first aid spray. so real time is better. and it would of been hard for them to just add walk and shoot or strife and shoot becuase they would of probably had to tweak the aim'ing and bad guys strengths and shit. its not the best game, not the worse game but for their first game in this series in HD and on the next gen consoles they did a good job.
