Its all about marketing.....I though we all knew that!...Who can re-coup and exceed funds spent on the artist is the one who wins...

Tech looses before it even start because of his fan base....A rap artist has to appeal to the black fan base first...and then once the artist is settled then it really doesnt matter....

Tech will never be on top market wise because of this..thats why this site has been what its been for years...boring and nothing to talk about...

I can leave this site for months at a time..and come back!.....and nothings changed..same ole bullshyt!

thats why mainstream isnt important to strange music...If so they would promote the music and artist better...damn every album gets no luv...why is that?...why isnt anything done different?....cause they dont care bout that part...touring is where the money comes from!!!!!

Anyway, I think you and I see eye to eye on a lot of this. To me, there has got to be a reason for Tech continuing to toil in obscurity. Either there needs to be a better effort, or... there has been "better effort," but the mainstream folks are blocking him. For me, it's like this... if it takes money to make Tech explode, you better do it because Tech ain't getting any younger. That's not a knock on Tech, but most folks want time later in life to just relax for a good long while. If money is what is holding you back, you better go get some any way that you can.

I was thinkin that the Mainstream wont let him in, yea. BUT maybe he likes it that way. If i was in the underground but still makin my money Id love it. I cant stand mainstream and I think the underground is where its at. Plus its easier to write a track on how the Industry is Bitch then a bitch ass punk ass mainstream song. I like underground Tech, and if he goes anywhere bigger, hope he doesnt change the style at all for the Industry fucks

Except that the majority of hip-hop/rap fans aren't even black, go to any concert of a major rap artist ( snoop, nas, 50 cent, whatever ) and most of the guys are white. The industry is really fucked up.

Go to Kube93.com and look at the playlist they have for their station, I gaurentee you can sing along with everyone of the choruses but prob couldnt recite more that 1 verse of the song. The fact will always remain as it always has, as long as Tech keeps dealing with the people he is dealing with and doesnt change the way he is, which I DO NOT want him to, but mainstream will never accept him for the way he is now bottom line... They are too scared... If they were, they would of done it already.

Wake up people. The industry has its standards of what they want their TV artists to present themselves as, and in the past 20 yrs every artist that wanted to be on TV has had to reform themselves to fit that image.
