Why do you guys need to go into some gay shit about me every time we try to talk wrestling?
I dont even like black guys so I dont know where that orlando jordan shit comes from...I was happy that someone was open about who they are but thats about it. Try to keep the gay thoughts to yourself, dude.
Why dont you like PWG and ROH? Not enough soap opera drama for you? You havnt known the wrestlers for ever so you cant enjoy it? How did you even get into wrestling if thats the case?

ECW didn't last very long, either. And it was never a threat to either wCw or WWE. I think they didn't get much more than 1's in the ratings, back when WWE was getting 6's and 7's. They'd probably have a worse rating than TNA today, as sad as that is.
The biggest thing keeping me from watching ROH besides it not being on tv in my area are its fans. I can't stand their "Holier than thou" attitude towards fans of any other promotion.

i understand what ur saying tho , ive heard other people say the ring work is great but they just cant get into it .

A true story is told in the ring, with moves and holds, facial expression, and body language. A good match doesnt come from story lines, a good match comes from what happens in the ring. A true "character" is shown in the ring not in promos or sketches

Yeah, I don't understand Jap wrestling... besides the language barrier, their matches are a snoozefest. Hold after hold after hold, I don't always like the WWE style of tie up, punch, kick, spot, kick, punch, spot, finisher... but I cannot get into the Japanese style.
I don't mind the Jap stuff in the Jap thread, but the Wrestling DVD thread is getting a ton of matches with people I either don't know, don't care about, or can't understand due to the announcers being Japanese.

Not every match is a hold for hold thing....check out some of the matches on the last page of my Puro thread... I think most of them will be enjoyable to an american audience. You might enjoy the tag matches, probably the Tenryu beat down on Kenta also

I don't think you understood what he was trying to say. It's not as if Jackie Chan and Jet Li never met before, jumped in the ring and had a fight for no damn reason. There has to be some reason behind the two being in the ring and having such disdain for each other.

Why do you need to know why they are in the ring to enjoy a match? You are telling me you couldnt enjoy a great match because you dont know why its going on?
Thats what I like about Jap wrestling. They dont need a reason all the time to beat the tar out of each other. They will just book a match and they will put on an amazing performance because thats when it matters....in the ring
