We can't contact them without the probability of killing off majority or even all of their small population. We, as people of a global community, carry many different diseases which they are not immune to. Contact of any sort would be fatal for them.
There are about 100 uncontacted tribes in the world, and most of them vicariously fight off or avoid any outsiders, they wish to be uncontacted (I would assume they, and their ancestors, have witnessed throughout history what happened to past tribes when met with outsiders), this is the reason why they are still alive.
Theres another uncontacted tribe in the andaman islands who actually survived the tsunami in 2004, which is miraculous considering they were in the hardest hit area. Theres similar pictures of them throwing spears at helicopters, warding off outsiders.
