Well aside from Christianity and Hinduism you also had the Roman Religion, you had the mystery religions, you had Judaism if you're counting that, you had Zoroastrianism, you had the Egyptian death religion, you also had Wiccan/Pagan religions, You had Baal worship, and probably some other big ones.

I know this statement will open a whole can of worms, but I gotta speak it....
Look at the percentage of Judiasm globally... (aside from the U.S. & Israel being our safe havens), we are still subject to hate crimes, discrimination, and prejudice globally, and aside from Women, we have incurred greater longevity of persecution than any group...
I don't agree w/ many of the policies enacted by Israel (nor the terrorist arabs either), but why does the world want to see us perish, and continue to blame us for all of the inequities (just b/c a minority of us Jews are in strong financial positions, the stereo type is typecast among us all?)
We do not try to recruit, or preach we are the only way, our religious beliefs are our religious beliefs, and not intended to be imposed on others whose beliefs differ...

I have friends all over the spectrum. One or two are Jewish, and they're awsome. Just like my Atheist friends, and my Nihilist friends. I'm still trying to figure out if there's a difference between Atheist and Nihilist. Anyway, I don't judge a whole by a few. It goes with any group. I'm a woman, but I'm neither a feminist nor a push over. Too far in either direction and it's overbearing, though I have feminist friends. My Jewish friends have never pushed religion on me, but they don't believe in an afterlife though. They're really cool people, and their grandparents were poor when they came here from Lithuania. So, yea, not every Jewish person is rolling in dough, obviously. Just like not every woman is either a feminist with unshaven armpits or a barefoot wench in the kitchen making sandwiches all day long between baby-birthins.

Yeah, there's a huge difference. I'm an Athiest but I don't consider myself a Nihilist by any means. Nihilists seem to deny all existance and/or hold no moral values. For the most part, Atheists can be extremely moral. In fact, the Atheist community that I have been in contact with seem to have higher morals than most christian americans. I've often stated on this board that I am an Atheist living more of a Christian life than most christians. Atheists, for the most part, strongly believe in scientific facts and theory. Nihilists can deny all evidence, reality, etc. There are also different forms of Nihilism.
I know that but the point I was trying to make was that there was no organized religion like there is today in Moses' time. None that was universal to the point that even his people were converting into. The point to all this was that he never said "My religion is better than his or hers!".
