No they're not DRM, they're clean tracks. Just m4a files so someone probably originally ripped them on a mac.

I just noticed on the Good Old War that Tell Me stops abruptly. I'll try to get a better version when I find one.

Reason I asked is because the first song I heard (Dear Child...) was slightly redone. There were differences from the one that had been floating around the past few years. Sounded cleaner.

Reason I asked is because the first song I heard (Dear Child...) was slightly redone. There were differences from the one that had been floating around the past few years. Sounded cleaner.

oh I thought you meant the section that says High & Driving EP. Everything else is new and re-recorded with Good Old War as the backing band.

This is pretty cool, mini side project of Thomas from Forgive Durden and Bobby from Gatsbys/SearchRescue.

So Thomas from Forgive Durden and I came up with this idea to map out a record before writing a single piece of music. We named all the songs, decided the tempo and what key they would be in, and set up all the sessions in protools without even picking up a guitar. We laid down a whole album's worth of bass in about an hour within the set tempo/key parameters and then we started building the rest of the songs around the basslines, without altering the structures.

We've been super busy doing our own things so we only finished the first song so far, but you can hear it at www.forgivedurden.com. Its pretty fun and the rest of the ten songs are all in a similar ballpark. Except with different names, tempos, and keys. Haha. It's just art for art, we have no interest whatsoever in doing anything more than finishing the songs one by one and posting them up for download. I'm gonna try to get home to seattle this month for a few days to finish a few more of the songs. Hope you guys like it!

can some one link me to some good music
looking for some:
indie uk bands with like some electronic type beats and stuff like crystal castles typpe stuff

or any good indie band or indie pop stuff or just and music that makes you feel good

I don't remember if it was you or Carnage that was into Foals but if it wasn't you you should check them out for sure.

You might like Hot Chip although I personally don't.

Death from Above 1979 was awesome but they are from Canada.

Curve is awesome too and they are from England although they weren't indie.

DARTZ! from England is pretty cool too, so is Ghostland Observatory but they are from Texas.

Sorry I don't have links because I'm at work but all the bands listed are pretty easy to find on the net anyways.
