There are different types of Muslims, not talking about the Different Sects out there, but different views on thing. I have a question to muslim that believe True Judaism and Christianity are been contradicted with Islam, and through what Islam Believes. I don't want hate messages here, and this thread is staying 4 sure. My question is, if Judaism came almost 5500+ years and Christianity 540 Years before Islam, why do you Muslims believe that Islam is True? I mean I see Noah, Moshe(Moses), Iza(Jesus but portrayed as a prophet but not God as told in the Bible), but still believe that It is the True Way?

People will sometimes say you can't use time, or chronological entry in terms of being the most true religion. Some could argue that Paganism is the Way because it came before Judaism and Christianity, in the Sense, that Moses Wrote the First Book, Thousands of Years after Creation, and Paganism existed before the books of our religions were written. But time does matter because it shows that the same things which apply in Islam, also applied in Christianity and Judaism which came Prior to Islam. How the Stories are parallel with each other. So can anyone answer my question? God Bless

Edit: The Reason I ask Muslims, is because the other religions aren't close in terms of Similar Morals and Teachings, and it's after all, part of the Three Monotheistic Religions.

me no muslim, and according to heresy i dont know much about religion but....the koran is perfect, its the true word of god according to them, even christians must acknowledge that their bible has gone through revisions and versions and eliminating (arguably) whole books of their text. i read a book about the scientific basis behind islam; inferences that they fortold of the development of the fetus, the big bang, oceans, the sky etc...so i would posit that the muslims prefer their religion because they claim the other two (bible, torah) have had too much influence by man, that even though they may be based on the word of god, they have been meddled with and changed by man for personal gain, whereas the koran is the true, unchanged dicta of GOD. i think i also heard this on history channel or something.

that being said, of course the koran is not perfect and in a few instances even contradicts its own chronological "order" in terms of saying certian prophets came before others or certain events happened before others, and then later its vice versa, or something along those lines

Good Post NJOsmith even though in the past all we did was bash each other. I'd like to hear from the Great Shoowilla, because he probably knows more about it than anyone else. I'd argue, but I'm still waiting for a response, yours was a good one.

read the first 100 pages of the Qu'ran and tell me you don't want to convert
Officially I've been Baptist my whole life, but I've been thinking about converting for a long while now because Christianity simply doesn't have the answers I'm looking for. Much love to Yeshua Ben Yosef though, nothing against him, it just seems as if the majority of his followers are mislead..

It's Yeshua Ben Elohim, or Meshiach Ben Elohim.

His people are Mislead? If you're going to make a point against Christianity tell me when you become a muslim and then Discuss, if you're still an apostate Christian, then don't but your views please.

^Elohim wasn't Jesus' real name(it's a hebrew word expressing "the devine"), Jesus spoke Aramaic. Just felt that you were trying to correct me or something, it's all good.

It's neither Yeshua ben Yosef or Yeshua Ben Elohim, It's Isa bin Maryam, because Jesus IS NOT the son of god and he never once claimed to be. His teachings were misconstrued and the whole Bible was tampered with by the people who came after him. He is the son of Mary, and was sent as a Messenger to convey Gods message to mankind, and therefore his name is Isa bin Maryam.

Hebrew/Aramaic against Arabic, but what makes you think Islam is not. Like in an argument I used, compare the early Christian church and how the spread their message of the Gospel, to how the first Muslims spread Islam. Then come back at me.

I guess that you can say that if he wasn't the son of God, because Yeshua Ben Yosef literally just means the anointed messiah, so if you don't believe that I guess you would be inclined to call him by a different name..
Yeshua ben Yosef in Hebrew/Aramaic means Jesus son of Joseph, not messiah, Messiah itself means anointed one. Meshiach, Mashiach at times, Christos, Cristos.
