More No than Yes. It depends on if you're Using it, or Utilizing it.
If you smoke weed, then Write Papers, Study, Clean, Make Music, etc., then to me its not much of a sin. If you smoke weed, then just sit there, or do nothing, or watch a movie...then its nothing more than a cheap excuse to be lazy.
If you treat people well, eat well, make other people smile, all of that--then go nuts. But if your life is falling apart, bad job, eating unhealthy, smoking cigarettes/weed......then complain that you don't have enough money to get by, you're an idiot and of course its a sin.
I'd say all of the above^^^^^ for Alcohol and Caffeine as well, legal or otherwise. Circumstance dictates. Don't use mind-altering substances to mask weakness, avoid taking responsibility, etc. Use them sparingly to put some spice in your life--and once you have that spice, use it to your advantage.
