That is the North fa sho.. Everything past Apgar is West Oakland.. They got council district maps too, you can look and see, that's council district 1 a.k.a North Oakland.. Don't know if you wanna move there though, maybe above Telegraph is coo going towards Kaiser, MLK is kind of shady all the way through..

i must admit, i have neva seen this part of oakland in my entire life... its like if u go on the road goin to the oakland airport,its like this long fuckin road that goes around it,i swear to fuckin god, it look like sum shit straight out a movie, i seen green fresh grass,beautiful shit like clean houses and shit, hella nice,white ppl joggin and shit,then time u get out that mafucka its grimey ass fuck,the sun be shine'n ova there and shit. the shit was crazy
I only met one person in real life who actually lives in Oakland, it was one of my dads friends. Who met a girl here who was from Oakland and moved over there 15 years ago. When I met him for the first time I asked him about East Oakland and the crime rate and he was looking at me like I lost my mind. He said he has never had trouble there in his time, and on a few occasions he ventured into the poorer areas accidentally when he first moved there everyone was really helpful.

I never knew anybody to consider the Macarthur BART as West Oakland.. West Oakland is below telegraph anyways, the Macarthur Bart is right there off of Tele.. You'd have to go further west(on the other side of the freeway), and even then it's past Apgar/37th st.... Niggas and the city its self consider that to be officially West Oakland.. I fucked with a bitch who stayed on 35th and West(right under the freeway) and she considered that the North, but I don't know, that's borderline.. I consider everything past Apgar West like it says on the maps...
Everybody act's like Jack London Square is Oakland's pride and joy....lol
Nobody goes to that motherfucker hardily ever anymore...lol they have 4/clubs, a movie theater and a few restaurants all surrounded by fish or fruit markets.
There are good neighborhoods and bad neighborhoods all over Oakland some right next to each other.
I wouldn’t trip off finding a decent neighborhood that's not really an issue, it's if your living in the Town regardless of where; your going to have to shop, eat, be around certain areas etc... and there are a lot of ignorant people mixed in with the good people.
