3 years on my xbox, not one issue with "haccers", no "rrod's", no shitty ass connections, no down time.... jesus people are still trying to convince you that ps3 is better? how long has it been since you got online on blacc ops? first off it takes a month and a half for you even to get a new map pacc.... by the time you get bacc online and get a chance to finally download the new maps the third installment will be out... then you can wait another 2 months to get THOSE maps.... PS3 SUCCS!!!!
actually XBL has been down a total of 7-8 times and on couple of occasions for more than 7-10 days...

Xbox Live had intermittent downtime during the 2007-2008 holiday season which lasted thirteen days.[5] Increased demand from Xbox 360 purchasers (the largest number of new user sign-ups in the history of Xbox Live) was given as the reason for the downtime; in order to make amends for the service issues, Microsoft offered their users the opportunity to receive a free game.

The free game was Undertow, and it sucked. And if I remember correctly, Live wasn't down, it was just laggy as fuck. I believe that might of been the year Halo 3 came out.

i can only respond with....fuck black ops...and yes as far hardware goes ps3 is superior...the only thing the xbox has going is in fact map packs, they bought exclusive rights to get them first....kind of like how sony went balls deep in to mortal kombat....the call of duty franchise is dying quickly...and if map packs are all the xbox has to keep the user then your on sinking ship
lmao at cod being a dying franchise. theres people that like blops that will be buying mw3, then theres the people that hate blops, who will buy mw3 just to call that one shit as well. mw3 will probably outsell blops

I have a 360 and a ps3.. My 360 has RROD twice. But I got them both replaced and the newest one has been good for about 2-3 years. I bought a PS3 at the beginning of last year and the disk drive is broke on it or something.. It won't read any disks.. It became my netflix and streaming machine now.

Though, I'll say when my PS3 was working I started buying all of my games on there instead of the 360.

Halo 3 and Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare were the two biggest games, but Assassin's Creed, PGR4, Mass Effect, The Orange Box and Rock Band also released from September through November.

As PlayStation users and developers around the world become increasingly frustrated with the amount of time it is taking Sony to restore its PSN and Qriocity services, finally some positive news is beginning to emerge regarding the restoration of the service.

Today, PlayStation Japan has updated its customers via its blog, telling eager online gamers that the service is in the verification stages to ensure the new PSN is safe and secure for its users. Furthermore, it has emerged via the PlayStation.nl Twitter account that some users may be testing PSN, in anticipation of the service going back online for the masses. Today is Day 23. Supposedly it will be back up in 18 days.

That's 2 months PSn will have been down for. And how does Sony say they are sorry? By forcing you to give them your credit card information to get suckered in to a PSN+ program that auto renews after the month is over. Oh, and 2 free games from a list of 5 that are all most likely launch PSN games that nobody would buy otherwise.

I will not be buying a PS4. Sony has lost me as a customer. I realize that they were not responsible for the initial hack, but their ineptitude on how to handle the situation blows my mind.
