Framerate is cut in half because it doesn't seem the PS3 is strong enough or something.. It's a little choppy at parts, I gues
NAW PS3 IS MORE POWERFULL IT'S JUST 3RD PARTY DEVELOPERS ARE LAZY BECAUSE YOU WOULD HAVE TO DO A LITTLE MORE WORK ON THE PS3 TO MAKE IT 60 FRAMES BUT I DON'T HAVE HD SO FUCK IT THE PS3 CONTROLLER IS BETTER THATS WHY I GET PS3

a reason the sales will increase in this month. all the people that purchased PS3 within 30 days most likely will take it back and purchase it again just to save $100. that will count as a sale. so people are returnin and buyin it again and the sale number will go up.

what will happen is that sony has the 499 for now and 599 in august with the 80gb version. then is that sony will remove their 60gb model which is 499 in august. cuz they are intoroducing the 80GB model. just like they did to 20gb model ps3. and then they will only offer PS3 with 80GB for 599 which is the same as it used to be with 60 gb. so basically people will be payin $100 for 20gb of memory.

microsoft will introduce a price cut to x360 before HALO 3 drops. everyone knows that that will increase the sale by a large amount.

thats just my thought

I hardly doubt they will remove the 60 gig version after the 80 gig is released. Microsoft hasn't done away with the Premium edition of the 360, so why should PS3 remove their 60 gig version? I don't understand why Sony would release a 80 gig version of the PS3, you can upgrade the HD if you want with the 20 and 60 gig version.

Is there a way to just throw in any ole HD you want in the PS3? Ill buy the 20GB and put a 1TB in that bitch...i aint scared....

EDIT: I guess you can...any 2.5 SATA drive will work in there...

"I don't understand, you can use any sata 2.5 inch internal drive of your choice in the PS3, its not a hack or anything, the PS3 will willingly accept and use any compatible drive, why release a version that has nothing but a slightly larger harddrive? I mean, youd think they would at least go 120gig."

That is the 3rd person I seen on 3 seperate blogs say this....i think i may have just saved myself $200...

Well, actually not. NewEgg.com has a 250GB 5400 RPM'er for $200:

Dude even verified puttin it in. This seems the way to go right here.

I also just realized that they eliminated the 20GB system all together...fuckin BITCH!

They pretty much canned the 20GB. Ive been reading about all sorts of new sizes that Sony plans on putting out: 80, 120, 160, and 200. My question, why waste time throwing in a 20GB larger HDD? If they are smart, they will at LEAST go with the 160.

Then again, this is Sony...so im not holding my breath.

there is no point to have a 160 gb hard drive on a gamin system. at least not until someoen figures out how to put all the old NES, SNES, Sega Genesis roms on ps3 or 360.

but still 160 for a video game only system is way too much hard drive space to have. i mean its coo to have but i dont think ill use it. i still got a lot of gigs left on my 20 gig xbox hard drive.

Appearntly, when the "rea" PS3 games come around, they will use up more space than the games are using now, or so it has been said.

Plus, cant you store movies and music on there as well? I have 113 GB of music alone, and lets not even go into my 60 GB of porn and 20 GB of movies (i plan on ripping all 100 of my DVD's onto my HD). Plus, once they get the game storing down, the discs will be worthless...just load you game from your HD.

But who knows.

there's already articles and news features going around saying ps3 will be offering HD movies for download to go along with the bigger hard drives.

I also think the PS3 is planning on offering games for download.. I know the new SOCOM game is a digitally distributed game.. In five-ten years, we won't be buying games from stores anymore, or at least all games will be downloadble starting with the next gen. PS3 is smart to start doing this now..

Then there's the iTunes type stuff that they are probably planning for in the future.. Where they put up television shows, HD Movies and things like that.

You could easily fill up a 180 gig hard drive with Games and HD-Movies, but they should also allow you to re-download the items without pay like the Wii does with the Virtual Console.
