In my opinion, p90x is for those already in shape and only to get more muscle texture and also requires a bunch of equipment. Insanity however seems like a program that focuses on fat burning rather than muscle building and does not require any equipment. Insanity is a 60 day program and p90x is obviously a 90 day program. If you were to start tomorrow or monday, you could basically do both and be done months before your brothers wedding. I would personally start with Insanity first, which I will be starting next week, due to the reasons in which I have mentioned above. just my 2 ¢.

Thanks mayne, Insanity does look better to me. I couldn't find a place to DL it though, and P90x was hella easy to find, so I just got it instead, lol.

i thought about doing it (P90x). I know a guy who has it and it worked pretty well for him. He wasn't fat or anything, a little overwieght and out of shape. He's pretty ripped now. The diet and eating part of it is as important as the actual workout though.

If you're that fat, you should start with something more cardio based like Insanity. P90X works, but if you're not able to do pull-ups and push-ups or just lift your body weight in general, you're not going to see all the benefits you would otherwise..
