The one thing about my music is its about my LIFE!! Im not juss sittin down writing raps juss to do it or please a certain crowd, its me its P-Folks its what I am actually doin at the present time!!!
I hella appreciate that homie, and that's the difference between an ARTIST trying to paint a picture, and a RAPPER who shows up on every mixtape and remix trying to show how clever they are. As a fan I've come to listen for a good story with life lessons and some game to go with it.

much love.

at first i wasnt feelin it just a few songs.. but i decided the album is good overall! that intro track with DE is the SHIT. P-folks unlike most, still has the spitz... @ and about that 90's bullshit thats just a joke... nobody wants mothafuckas to put cheesy 808 cowbells in the beat they just want a good beat and a good flow not one or the other.. it seems beats are weak now becuz everyone is getting to the point where they just want money out of it cuz they are worried about their future..... just my opinion.. good shit P-Folks

quality overall has declined, and then you got these people that feel obliged to accept whatever is given to them... fuck that

hip hop has been around for some three decades now, and it is just now in the last several years that it truly sucks.

...and that's what I get "erked" about, That is the side that I represent in this whole arguement, Its "new" so I need to accept it? it's "what hot's " I never been one to follow trends like that.

@ Homie Ifuckedyourmom, really There was no need for u to keep explaining yourself, the point your stressing---I comprehended A LONG TIME AGO. NEW is NEW things change, move one, live in the now--pretty obvious. THE point that I'm stressing is to explain that we don't need to look at music on a timeline like that, and make these divisions, because---it all comes back around, No idea is original, shit you hear on a new records is different from the year before but may be exactly like something 12 years ago . To me there really is no NEW or OLDSCHOOL, it all goes in cycles, of course there are minor advances in music, for example The beats on DA ZOO are LAYERED with all kinds of different melodies, and subtle sounds to make this polyphony and that is the trend that HIP HOP beats are following RIGHT NOW. But it's been done before and in a few years simple Boom clap beats will get popular again.

Part of the Problem with the game right now is everybody searching for the NEWEST thing, instead of just making music from the heart.

there is some decent stuff on the album, i dont how much replay it will get in my stereo, but its not garbage.......

Im not gonna get into the debate of old school sound new school sound. If you like the music you like it, if you dont you dont.

i'm feelin it. p-folks' flow is on point and he has that voice to go along with it. haven't listened to it in depth so i won't comment on the content just yet

the beats were a problem for me at first too cause i feel roulette outshines the production on almost every track. but it coulda been much worse.

all in all i think it's a dope album

@p-folks: keep it up mayne. it's great to see you drop someting after all those years!!! people out here in germany are feelin you
