not even i was feelin dangerdoom all that much,it was good for comic relief but not a solid album in my opinion. you either are hella feelin doom or not feelin him at all,its an aquired taste,not for everybody.like most UGHH,you either get it or you dont

I would love to see who is in your Top 5 list of G.O.A.T emcees if Jay and Em aint.

My vote for overrated goes to Paul Wall. I still don't get the appeal of this dude (and I'm tryin).

^^ i dont think paul wall is overrated but thats because i dont think hes all that good music aite tho mostly bout grillz and south and jay is koo but whenever someone talks about white rappers eminem always comes up and comes up as the best i like his music tho its koo its just kind of overrated sometimes my opinion

they arent even in my top 50...just cause they do it on the mainstream level they get more credit than they deserve,there is cats in the underground that do what they do and have been for years. they arent anything special to me. would say i would love to see your top 5 but would probably be too predictable,let me guess

eminem is dope as fuck. one of the best emcees fsho. but he's overrated b/c the top 2 selling emcees of all time are the Beastie Boys and Eminem. both are overrated in terms of sales. jay-z is 3rd but i kinda see why.

Nas is my #1 dude though... Eminem is up there. To say that he shouldn't be just because he's mainstream is kind of bullshit. It's the ol' underground vs mainstream argument.

I gotta get back to you on the top 5 ... Now that I think about it, I'm not even sure Jay-Z is going to make it, lol

I love me some Chuck D and some Brotha J (X-Clan) too ..

This is a tough one.

not saying he doesnt deserve his spot on any list. just saying thats where alot of the hype comes from. to me he never did anything outstanding,but from the point of view as the general public he was doin and saying things that no ever rapper has done. when to me it was just nothing special. thats what i was trying to say,not knockin him for being mainstream,just saying that alot of people give into the hype.

yea, i sat here and reads peoples threads putting like jay z and em and tupac as overrated in there, and i oculdnt believe it either.......but everyone got they own opinion. so im not gonna batttle them over it.....*goes and looks at all the classic ass albums those artists have dropped*.....but really, yall didnt feel jayz first album? or all eyez on me?
