NITRO,

YOU STRESSED, "Linkin Park is one of the reasons I listen to metal music. I was strictly 100% Bay/Sac rap and hip-hop until I heard them".

YOU SHOULD'VE REMAINED STRONg PLAYA.

THEN YOU STRESSED, "I'm not gonig to say hey EDJ, why don't you try some rock music, here's a slipknot song.. that shit will traumatize his ass."

LOL. NOT ONLY THAT. IT PROBABLY FUK UP MY WHOLE DAY.

I saw Meshuggah in concert and I didn't even know who they were, they opened up for Tool a few months back.

Soilwork sounds a lot like In Flames, I found out yesterday the bands have been best friends, they grew up together or some shit. LOL @ Headstrong.

Check this out, Lacuna Coil is going to be at the next ozzfest too. No longer do they have to cancel their shows because they can't obtain visas to the U.S.

Man I listen to everything - Nitro you got some pretty good music tastes.
I'm a huge fucking tool fan. Next tour I am going to follow them around the west coast and possibly mid-west.

Here's my lists, excluding Rap as the topic says:

Rock:
A Perfect Circle
Tool
Pink Floyd
Grateful Dead
AFI
Hendrix
Nirvana
NoFX
OSI (Very very similar to Tool)
Rancid
System Of A Down
The Faint
Coheed & Cambria
The Used
Incubus
Thrice
Thursday
Sublime
Smashing Pumpkins
Bad Religion
Kottonmouth Kings
Hed P.E. (Rock/Rap, Sick Group)
Creedence Clearwater Revival
Blue Oyster Cult
Blues Traveler
Beatles
Transplants
WAY more...

Electronic:
GoA/Psytrance: Lots --
Psycircle
Psydrop
Cyber Cartel
Oakenfold GoA shit
Hardcore: best elec genre imo --
Hixxy
Scott Brown
Styles
Luna C
DnB: Some --
AK1200
Bounty Killer
B-Boy, etc.
Other harder shit.
And more...

Raggae:
A lot, but I don't have many specific artist preferences.
Bob Marley obviously.
His bro Damian Marley puts out some good shit.
Got a 10-cd pack of classic raggae shit that I've been bumping.. its good.

Damn... a lot of other shit too.... I'm a music fanatic and got the whole music scene painted clear in my head.

Anyone who says a certain type of music is weak is just being ignorant and needs to keep their beliefs to themselves. I fucking hate country music but you don't see me dissing them cowboys... lol...
And to be down with hip hop, you ain't gotta PLEDGE yourself to it and live your life by it... thats twisted... i been listening to rap since i was a little ass kid and i know more about it than almost everyone i meet in real life... but i also listen to 500+ other music groups in every genre you can name, does that mean that I'm not a true hip hop supporter or fan? Helll nah i cant go with that...

have rarely found a music group that i dont like if they are somewhat decent... thats the way it should be for sure..

^ Nah its not, but I dont want it to be. I live and Breathe music, and music is my culture. Rap is just a piece of that pie... a large piece I would say... but id rather see the entire thang than just the section...
... if you met me in rl though it would 'seem' like rap would probably be my main thing. I aint no hardcore punk rock type dude or some weird club head or anything, haha... i still consider myself to be mostly affiliated with the street knowledge type of lifestyle... ie rap
