Now and then I bump Jungle/Drum N Bass: AK 1200, etc.

"Trip-hop" type shit like DJ Shadow, Massive Attack, Portishead (Even tho the last two are kind of pussy shit)

Ambient...Acid Jazz...

Also Death metal: Obituary, Morbid Angel, Six Feet Under

Alternative Metal shit: Deftones, Soulfly, Slipknot, etc.

These days I think I listen to everything but Rap, R&B, and country. I mainly listen to rock, jazz, blues, and classical. Rap got boring to me... maybe I'm just older but most of it is actually quite humorous to my ears now. I can still enjoy a few tracks off of Loaded though.

nah, as i was looking at there site i notice one of the fools wearing a 'brujeria' shirt. i use to play that.

I was more into Downset and Rage Against the Machine for my politics when i was in high school. And Dope, but there really not all about politics. I'm not all into metal as i was, but thats becuase i listen to more styles of music.

I listened to rap from about age 12 - 21. I listened to a lot of Bay shit, some southern shit, and some eastcoast. To name stuff I used to listen to off the top of my head: 11/5, brotha lynch, first degree, e40, celly-cell, dru down, 2pac, biggie, wutang, method man, redman, doja click, bone, spice 1, eazy e, mac mall, loki, twista, do or die, 3-6 mafia, snoop, run dmc, totally insane, krs one, public enemy, AMG, nas, devin the dude, ice cube, eminem, dre, westside connection, nataz, and the list goes on and on... I used to have over 150 rap cd's, but I sold about 90% of them 3 years ago or so at rasputin's.

What I think EDJ is trying to say is that if one is to be true to the music (rap/hip hop) and it's subculture then it follows that interest in other forms of music, my assumption being namely that which is considered white (i.e. Metal, rock, etc), should be nonexistent.

EDJ: I would love to hear you expand on how one is a disgrace to the music and subculture... no names have to be said. I'm only basing my assumption on what I know about you from our numerous disagreements back in the day. I could be totally off.
