A good chunk of the hope that program has for the future is on that man's shoulders. There was a time (early 1980s - late 1990s) when Washington sent literally 11 straight starting QBs (guys who started atleast 1 full season) to the NFL. That streak has to start again, and it's starting with Jake Locker.

Romo caught the ball cleanly. He did not put it down on the turf cleanly.
And yes, exactly what Jesse said, the Hawks would have had 1:15 for a Nate Burleson kick return and then 2 minute drill offense. 80% chance they lose, 20% chance they win, and that's a pretty conservative estimate.
Regardless of Romo fucking the snap up, I think Parcells fucked up by not going for it on 4th & inches b/c they were in sneak range, and a 1st down ends that game even with Romo fucking the snap up (b/c they would've knelt twice and kicked the ball on 3rd down, in which case they would've just fallen on the fumbled snap, called a TO and kicked it again on 4th down). It wasn't just Romo who fucked up, I think Parcells played the lower percentages (there's a greater chance they get it on 4th & inches than there is the Cowboys hold us from a last minute FG drive).
