If Royce didn't complain about Eminem and them not being friends anymore (what a fag) than nobody would know who the fuck he is outside of Detroit. Royce shouldn't have made tracks past 1998.

Half of you only know who Royce is through the Beef docs, and even then you only knows about the Beef docs through Strange.

I can't argue with you. I AM ignorant to Royce, because he's so fucking generic. He's a dime a dozen rapper. Why am I the only one to say it? I mean, if you're into generic rap, than by all means, enjoy. I'm not going to pretend that Royce is the shit just to seem like I know a thing or two about hip-hop.

Find me a track that compares to Tech or MC and I'll tell you it's dope. Until then, Royce is wack. Slaughterhouse as a whole is wack. They don't have singles career sales and they don't have sales as a group.

Boring is the only word I can come up with. Royce is like the soundtrack to a generic crime film. Maybe him and Trejo should hook up. I'm sure Royce would do the tracks for free at this point. LoL.

Cham rapped about skinny jeans and did this whole song in ONE LINE. "I don't wear skinny jeans cuz my dick don't fit".

Dude is rapping a whole song about skinny jeans. Dude is talking about other dude's dicks for an entire song. Come on man. Talk about a dudes pants on the street for more than 3 minutes and your homie will knock you out just on principle.

This is the first song you recommended.

It's not bad. His writing is decent. But still... It's boring. The beat is a little whiny. I dunno man he writes like Em and delivers the lyrics with 25% of the heart. I mean, half the time I feel like he's biting Em. But that's just because I don't know much about Royce.

I can see where Royce influenced Em... I'll give him that.

After listening to "Today"... it seems like if nobody else wrote songs, Royce wouldn't have any idea how to start his verses.

If you think this is hotter than Tech, you're wrong. I'm a rock n roll dude. So this shit is boring as fuck to me. I wouldn't even call it "boring". It's just generic. The guy talks about his personal life, but in the end, I just don't care about dude.

"Dre won't talk to me".

Boo fucking hoo. I don't care. You fell out with Shady... Whatever. Why do you go on tape and talk a bunch of hoo-hah and then record a song about how sad you are? And hey Royce, you shouldn't have open alcohol in a vehicle. That's just respect for the driver.

I like how he rented an SUV for that shoot also. As if dude drives around in an Escalade with a driver. Please. Dude's a fake, his flows are generic, and if you think those songs even come close to Tech... I don't know why you listen to Tech at all. I mean, you must just like anyone who raps, period.

I hate rock and roll so I can understand why u think he is boring while tech has songs like little pills and riotmaker. Death is certain is one of the dopest rap records period and yeah he sounds like eminem why cuz em and royce came up together I mean u don't hear any similarities between tech krizz and kutt, of course you do.

And the royce/ em d12 beef was a huge part of royces career and personal life so of course he's going to dwell on it and to put him down for it would be like putting tech down for rapping about his mother or the bitches in his life..

To each his own though if u don't like royce don't download the free cd he gave away simple as that

Don't get me wrong, I'm not saying I need guitars in my rap music. I just need a little more than a weak beat and a generic flow.

And dude.. if dude makes his name on beefing with D12... well I don't think I need to say much more. Nobody knew who he was, he threw a track out against the D and Em, and a whole 4 people payed attention. He revived his dead career, and people still don't give a fuck about him. The dude is wack. I listened to the songs, so you can't call me ignorant of Royce.

I'm the dude that said he influenced Em. So I gave the guy a bit of credit. But in the end, even Obnoxious Nate has more heart on a track. The lyrics might come from the heart, but he doesn't spit it like it is. That leads me to believe dude doesn't even write his own lyrics. How are you going to write deep personal shit like that and rap it like your LL just pumping out an album?

I didn't expect you to take it so personally.

And as far as a "free" album goes. Every album is fucking free. CD's are a dead format. He's smart enough to know that there are stupid fucks out there that go "oh man he's so dope he gave this to us for FREE".

It's marketing.

And since he didn't record it with Shady, and they don't want to pay people off for the cd, they made it "free". Come on man.

I dunno man. Praise be to Allah.

Edit: Oh, and nobody hates rock music.

it's okay that some people have bad taste in music, Zero. I've just learned to accept it. I mean.. my 15 year old nephews favorite artist is Bon Jovi... everyday I fear for his life being a freshman in high school. He was raised a by his young single mother who would play bon jovi all day long and take him to concerts. (father passed away).... some people just like bad music because of outside influences that are beyond their control... the bad music eventually wins over the person because they are around it so much it gets embedded in their subconscious... and even though THEY KNOW it's bad music... their subconscious craves it and eventually tricks the mind into believing the lie. Thats why some people think bad music is good music

or something like that

What's his boyfriends name?
Ok you wanna hear a royce track with emotion listen to his mistah fab diss record who got bodied that shit is raw emotion
Nah man... I'm done. And to be honest with you.... man... if Royce is making diss tracks about Fab, than he's just as popular as Fab. And guess how many people know who the fuck Fab is.

Including the siccness? Six.

How are you going to tell me that a guy is dope based on a diss track to a guy nobody's heard of? How fucking hard could it be to diss a guy named Mr. Fab? I mean... I could probably write a whole song without getting off the topic of his name.
comparing royce to tech is like comparing kobe to shaq...too different
Yeah they're different alright. One makes his own style and one is a cookie cutter rapper. Royce would be dope, if he were selling the shit out of his trunk.

If you have to recommend 20 songs to me, just so I can find one good track... That's not very impressive to me.

I guess I just don't pretend hard enough that I'm street. Royce isn't something that you like, it's something that you think sounds dope coming out of your car when you want to look cool rollin' down the block. If you don't find Royce boring, then your standards are very low.

do you even listen to him or what? royce is far from generic, his main thing is gangsta rap but he does so much different shit and has a ton of songs that reflects on his actual life just like Tech does. he also had great songs where he just tells a story and does like no other. crooked the same way and joell is kind of always on the same topic but he's so damn nice lyracally it dont even matter. budden is decent but i can see where he's disliked especially in that group with 3 titans. and I Hate Your Pants was suppose to be a funny song, it wasnt suppose to be a song to rep hard with your "homies" and that alone shows he's not just a generic rapper. i feel bad for you cause your missing out on some great music.

and a side note was 2Pac, Notorious, Eminem, Nas, Ice Cube Generic? if you think that than i guess i cant even argue with you about royce.

I don't really get how you can throw Pac, Big, Em, etc into the convo as if Royce could ever touch those people on the mic. You can say Bizarre from D12 is wack.... me bringing up other good rappers doesn't make him any better. And for the record I do think Nas is way overrated. I'd call Cube generic, but since he started that sound I can't.

My point about the skinny jeans song is that he did a whole joke song based on some shit people don't even wear anymore. The skinny jeans line was on point two-three years ago when Cham got on it.

No joke, I can walk down the street in Manhattan and run into 5 dudes handing out vinyls that can shit on Royce. I mean, I'm not sayin the dude is garbage on the mic. He's kinda nice... But BORING as fuck to me. The beats are (most of the time) mid 90's Wu loops. There isn't anything about Royce that would make me look twice at dude.

wow somebody really doesn't understand royce nor the rap game these days. First of all Royce became big when him and em did "when bad meets evil" and his 1st track off of his new mixtape sounds just like somethin tech would do.

You talk about people don't know who he was beefing with... Who knew who tech was beefing back when he mentioned that one female rapper on absolute power unless you followed tech religously which wasn't alot of people back then.

It sounds like you don't really listen to rap these days cause 98% of rappers sound like wacka flocka right now. They care less about the actuall lyrics and more about the beat. Even your people in Manhattan who probably suck balls with their camron/ souljah boi dumb it down flow. But it's all jesus. I'm still waiting for the tech and royce collab

sorry zero but now i know i cant win this arguement because u have absolutely no idea what the fuck ur talking about...fab dissed royce first and also called out detroit, proof, etc. theres a big story behind that...it's not like royce just dissed someone just to diss someone.....

oh i also forgot to mention royce made the track BOOM which is regarded as one of the illest rap songs of all time.

whatever dude stop commenting on rap music and go back to listening to Nickelback
