OPINION/IS THE DOWN SOUTH CLUB MUSIC BAD FOR THE RAP GAME.

People keep forgetting that Music itself is entertainment... Nothing Wrong with making Club Music... That's 1 area of rap... Gansta Rap is music for Ganstas to relate to... Mainstream Rap is for the Masses... Underground Rap is for the backpackers... etc... Good Music is good music... Is like Rock... You got Punk Rock, Alternative Rock, Heavy Metal shit... etc... Rap Music has gotten so big and some many people from different areas are doing it that is only right for Rap Music to break into different Genres... Cruck, Hyphy Shit, Gansta, Pop Rap... etc... 50 cent makes R&B rap... there it is... Another genre of rap... is all good... As long as niggas is getting money... cant knock em for that...
I just think that 50 is starting to feel the preassure and he's looking for an excuse as to why his artists wont be selling records in the near future... that's my opinion...

I dont care what kinda music it is...i just dont like that theres no variety for the most part on bet mtv and the radio(though 98.9 tries to mix it up)...50 is the one that dumbed down his lyrics to play to a larger audience...whys he hating cuz other peoples lyrics are less thought provoking than his...hip hop has always been about dancing in certain forms...old school and i mean in the beginning shit was just disco music...now its club/crunk next it will be something else..in the early 90s you had father mc and heavy d doing that kinda dance hip hop...nothing changes but the names and the clothes...i love gangsta rap somebody else may love club music or so called backpacker music its all hip hop
I dont think its bad for rap,but think of this
In the 80s and 90s and sometimes today you see on television where they would sterotype rap as someone in the run-dmc pose arms crossed,and mention rap and you see the old white man or lady mimick and make fun by beatboxing....I guess there is sterotypes in everything and at one time I cared,I always tried to school the dont knows..that rap is diverse,and most is entertainment,but there is political,and inteligent rap as well,over the years..i gave up..it aint worth it,I just sit back and let them look ignoraNT
