what does that have to do with ANYTHING I said?

Are YOU prepared and willing, Ceasar?
It has everything to do with what you said. You said that we should send back all illegal and even illegal immigrants....THEY are the ones who work in the fields, if they are gone...who's gonna take those jobs? Are you? Your homies? Who?

My point is, let them get legal.....let the gov't do every kind of background check or test they want.....it is crucial to our economy to have them here....

shit, my bad. I didnt even realize I said "send them all back". Freudian slip I guess.
What I meant was they shouldn't make it LEGAL for them to ILLEGALLY come over. I know its already going on. My city is knee deep in illegals. They make some bomb ass carne asada.

I don't think they should be legal. No way, no how. If they become legal, taxes will go up. Guarenteed. They become legal and every other unemployed mexican is signing up for welfare and there aint gonna be any goddamn field workers because they're gonna be getting all these undeserved benefits.

But send them all back? Nah, I misphrased that. I'm well aware of the catastrophic series of events that would follow that.

so let me get this right. If we get rid of illegal immigrants, no one will work in the fileds? i find that very hard to believe, IF the illegal immigrants were to be deported, someone else would just come along and work in the fields BUT they (the owners ) would have to pay at least minum wage.

So what should the US do with the current 11 million+ or so illegal ones that are here? Find them (lol) and deport them? (lol). It would take more troops than we have in Iraq to do a massive operation like that.

Most of ya'll are missing the much bigger picture that is at stake here. This arguement isn't about sending illegals home or closing the borders (that will NEVER happen, the US economy would crumble), this is about workers rights vs. the employers that seek to exploit them. The laws that are trying to be pushed through are made so that the employers can use them against any effort by the workers to get higher pay, benefits, unionize, etc.

and thats why like i said earlier..congress and the prez. will always side with leting illegals stay, like they just did on monday....so all this ''they should go back''b.s...is a waste of time.

"the NRC (National Research Council) estimates that the typical immigrant and his or her children pay an estimated $80,000 more in taxes than they will receive in local, state, and federal benefits over their lifetimes."

That really doesn't matter.....as long as your here long enough (legally) you can get your citizenship......
