I just want to know, for those of you who say stop illegal immigration, can you tell me how they are directly affecting you negatively in your everyday life?

I read a story last year about a town in south jersey that was having a big problem with illegals. The town was a farming town ( I know that doesn't sound right for NJ, but we do have farms ). Anyway, the farms in the town hire illegals for the summer. These are illegals that are paid under the table, have no proper id, driver's licenses, etc. So apparently this town was having a large problem with stolen cars. The illegals would just steal cars. If pulled over, they would just run. They would also get in accidents and run. So a lot of towns people were getting screwed when they would get hit by one of these illegals."

"If you add up how much of a drain illegals are creating in the health, social services, and crime sectors, you'd easily be just fine kicking them out.

While businesses don't pay because they are illegal, YOU as a taxpayer still do. The next time you request a social service you may not get it in time. Mr. Illegalez and his 10 kids will be receiving illegal benefits that you should have been granted.

Here in Oregon, a friend of mine was recently told to get section 8 housing, it would take 18 months to 3 years. Over the last 4 years, the section 8 housing has increased so much, it's ridiculous. And most of the reason is attributed to illegals coming to Oregon. Our services are being drained. Eventually, you won't be able to avoid this issue by just moving out of state. It will be everywhere.

The argument that businesses will shutdown and society will crumble is a big fat lie, and a myth. You want to talk about a "fear-based" political strategy from the Business Sector, that's it. Make people afraid to kick illegals out for fear it would cut-off their supply.

And as far as making illegals "legal" and getting them to pay taxes...that's even a funnier joke. Don't you get it? Businesses DON'T WANT THEM LEGAL. It's more cost-effective to pay an illegal under the table than to make them legal."

I find it ironic that the illegal immigrants are protesting in the streets. They are not American citizens and the 1st Amendment doesn't apply to them.
