the south dosent complain because theyre the south...not because theyre on top

southern hospitality....go down south you learn about it

people open their house up to strangers, when speaking to an elder you say maam or sir

put bluntly the south was raised better than that

behind the rap music alot of them dudes are really humble and down to earth and happy to have what they have

theyre easier to integrate within a cutthroat business
the less egos the more communication flows

and alot of these people on the west and east have their heads up their asses dudes from the south feel blessed to have a chance at getting the fuck out of tennessee

Though hip-hop isn't dead, I think that payola is hindering "hungry" artists from getting the exposure their music deserves. I wouldn't say that most artists individually need exposure, but sometimes they create music that should be heard. I hope that made sense.

hip hop isn't dead cause its a culture with alot of shit in it, but the spirit of hip hop is dead in mainstream rap. Rap is like a stand alone entity now, at least mainstream rap -it's just a genre of music that steals from hip hop, and exploits hip hop while shunning hip hop for glam, and fake gangsterism. But hip hop will outlast rap...mainstream rap will die cause it takes too long to reinnovate itself, and it doesn't have hip hop to rely on anymore.
Probably one of the best posts I have read on these forums.

you sir, are on point.
