The word "essence" itself is beautiful because it means "indespensible properties that identify something"........and the music we would be playing would identify the NW sound! Yes! I love it!!!! Plus it kinda rhymes......I could hear the show intro now.

Northwest Essence is by far the best name so far. It may sound a a little feminine.......but we're looking for something with MASS appeal here folks. We're not looking for some dirty - grimy name......I don't want something as blatantly obvious as "rain".....it don't rain everywhere in the NW anywayz! Think PAST Seattle.....think PAST Portland......this is going to be a NORTHWEST radio show and will play NORTHWEST Hip-Hop & R&B from Seattle to Portland to Boise to even Vancouver, BC.

And if you know what the word ESSENCE means......it works beautifully.
