You've said it yourself you are not a gangster and although you seem well knowledged about some aspects you are still missing others. There are more scraps/scrap sympathizers than real ENE's in lot's of cities. And when motherfuckers are backed up by 5 others you'd be surprised as to what they'd be willing to do, just because they outnumber you.
by this I only gather that the total numbers of dudes claiming 13 (no matter how fake) along with all part-time banging sympathizers versus ONLY the number of REAL Nortenos are higher. That doesnt say much. That still leaves ALL the fake Nortenos and THEIR sympathizers (part-time bangers that kick it) and that leads me to believe that there ARE more Nortenos overall. If you were to compare ONLY the realest from each side... THEN who has the majority? I have always heard Nortenos, but are you saying this is wrong? I couldn't see there being anywhere near that many real Surenos up there yet. If any of this confused you... its cool its all trivial anyway.
unfortunately i heared a couple of scrap cd's at some parties i've been too....scraps do talk about Nortenos but they don't call us Nortenos they call us slobs, busters, and other shit they keep it under wraps but us Nortenos we are savages, actually not savages we just keep it real. We don't fake our funk, we enjoy telling it how it is cuz we feel it. Just like in Woodie's Talez of a Killa "if your a gangsta and don't feel that your faking it".
1. Rodzilla is right. Woodie is a Norteno rapper that doesn't say "scrap killa flue rag" In every rap. He refers to his enemies as "enemies", he doesn't say "im gonna shank you flue rag paisa scrap dirteen" in every song and he talks about a gangbangin lifestyle. He reps that XIV but every song isn't about how he hit a scrap with a bottle or stabbed a scrap, or about how his 15 red rags are so red. This is alot of Norteno rap. It's kind of like G.U.N or Cuete gets repeated every time a Norteno makes a CD. Big Oso got it right, Nortenos need to be able to put down a hard track without dissing "you-know-who" in every song. I don't see a reason a Norteno rapper can't do a sad song, a club song, a lyrical song you know just showin off wordplay, shit like that. Woodie is the closest out there to this.
2. Leader, you just ain't informed. You ain't up here, so you wouldn't know, so you can't go around saying this and that about whatever.
SJN downplayed it but he knows the deal. Surenos outnumber Nortenos in northern cities probably 70 percent of the time, in some cases around 4 to 1. Many Northern cities have only Surenos, whereas any Northern city with Nortenos will most likely have South sets in it. Even in Salas one of the biggest "northern" cities, there are still 3 Sur sets.
And even if some Norte from Bumfuck, CA is 3 times as hard as some paisa Sureno from the same city, that Sureno with 3 or 4 of his homies will win out.
With Nortenos being this outnumbered, being hard and walking a big walk isn't all that it's played up to be. Who's better, a Norteno that holds his set high and takes on 3 dudes at once, or a scrap that ranks out and says he doesn't bang but hits the pad for his heat and kills a Norteno later on? In the end who has done their job, a scrap who ranked out but killed someone, or a Norteno that has alot of "pride" but doesn't handle his business. This is the problem facing Northerners at this point. Bling blingin, poppin collars, rappin, doin everything but what needs to get done. This is nothing new, it has been talked about before and posted on this board before.
But I'm starting to get into shit that don't concern me. This is another problem with this shit. People like Me, Chrishog, Teflon, DCL, talkin about shit we don't bang. Yea we got homies and family in this, but in the end too much 'Norte Shit' is talked about on this board by people like me and you who don't bang.
And the thing is, this is the internet, so you can't look on this message board, or that message board, to see what the fuck is going on with Nortenos, Surenos or any gang. Sometimes people discuss or give info here about shit but it's not anywhere near all the shit that really goes down. Yea it's interesting but you're really not getting a pictures unless you hit the block and see how it's goin down in 3D, and you better claim the shit too if you want info otherwise you ain't gonna get it.
You want my take on the situation, unless Nortenos do something serious the North will be overrun. It's slowly happening. You wanna know the reality of Northern Cali? Scraps are takin it over, that's how it's going.

and lets not forget that those are just the "surenos" up north. Those are some shocking numbers. And to say the Norteno force is stronger is also referring to the people up there. Unity is not necessary. Having more rivals breeds more active gangsters plain and simple and the more rivals Nortenos have, the more Nortenos will get down. Many are getting too comfortable with the unity as Oso said. Can anyone disagree with that?
