360= scratched games?

so i got a problem, i got my tiger woods game scratched. it has rotational scratches on the outer and inner lips of the disc. never knew where the scratches came from and the game was ruines, oh well. but now my brand new madden 08 has the same problem and i only bought it on tues. the scratches are identical to the ones that the woods game has. ive been suspecting my son cause it happend when he was playing the hell outta both games. i looked up on line and found this(posted below) my ? is has anyone expierenced this? and is there a way to fix my damn games?

My boys xbox used to do it to his games if you moved it while the game was in an the system was on there would be a scratch that went all the way around in the middle.

The same thing happened to me with Forza 2 and Nascar 2008.

You're not supposed to move the system at all when a game is in the system, even when it's off. It can scratch your games that way.

Also, I think some are defective and scratch games because they're cool like that.

yeah i just figured out that both times the games got scratched happend after i moved my console from my room to my living room, also my son told me he was moving the console alot the other day..so that solves the mystery, now on to trying to get the games fixed. do repair kits work?

just go to hollywood video rent both games and switch them out with yours.did at after that shit happened with my gears two day after i got it

so i used toothpaste on the disc, filled the scratches in. then wiped clean with alcohol...game has been working fine ever since!!!!

call umm today and they said my repair is completed and shipped and should get here within 5 days so i should get it back any day now. I'm fuckin pissed i haven't played madden 08 yet, i always get it the first day to

Friend of mine took his back to EB Games, he had a warranty there. Traded the system in, and the new one has the HDMI port, and the new heatsink.

We're trying to figure out if it has the new chip in it, but it doesn't seem like it.

2 weeks turnaround really isn't that bad, it just sucks not having the 360 for that time.

I bought a broken one on ebay with the 3 red lights for 115, and when I recieved it called microsoft immediately to be registered and have a coffin sent out. The coffin is supposed to arrive here tomorrow, I just hope I can get my system in 2 weeks like you some of you said. In the email they sent me it said 4-6 weeks.

nah it doesn't have the HDMI port but it seems to run alittle quieter but not cooler, o well if it overheats and breaks again ill just send it to umm again and get a new one
