best tasting, hottest hot sauce? best overall? what exactly is the criteria here?

me personally i did the tapatio thing for a while, then i found out about guacamaya in mexico and use that til this day. Its the best in shrimp cocktails, ceviche, cup noodles, etc.

i fucks wit them all. that asian chilli sauce shit, the cholulas, tapatio, i got this shit called DL Jardines Blazin Saddle habanero pepper sauce that i havent tried yet

Maddog 357 650,000 scoville units, thats a little less hot than pepper spray, maddog gets the highest scoville units if goes much higher its called a capcacin extract, which will set your ass on fire.
Everything I've seen (including the label on the bottle) on this hot sauce says 357,000 Scoville units.

Besides the difference in what the scoville units is listed as, is the label design any different than what's online?

Tapatio is the king of bottled hot sauces IMO. I mean it ain't super hot, but it's just hella fucking good. It pretty much goes well with everything. In soups, on chips, sandwiches, burritos, eggs, beans, whatever the fuck you want to put it on. :cool:

Seriously though, homemade hotsauce is where it's at. My aunt and mom can make some bomb ass hotsauces, real beaner shit. haha When I run out or just feel like mixing it up, I pull the Tapatio bottle out.

For good taste, there's a homemade style hotsauce I really like that I get at Roberto's Taco shop. It's the light red one. Shit ain't that hot, but fuck it tastes good. Pour that shit on 5 roll tacos and your set. I drank a bottle one time when I was drunk. haha


I think I'm going to grow my own chile plants one day. Real beaner style. I'd be eating serranos and jalapenos with salt all fucking day.
