ya but its a bigger difference with taxes and conversion rates. going to europe would save a lot of loot just on taxes alone, plus the fact that the dollar isnt shit compared to the euro.

its like they are making triple even if the salaries matched but they dont they are getting over paid... so its an even bigger difference.

yeah its weaker competition... so that part is up to the player. but its not like they cant come back next year, or after a few years.

our trainer got a technical in the 4th too hahahaha

As for Andris, I really don't think he'll leave. Josh left for Greece cuz he wanted the money but more importantly he wanted to start. He was coming off the bench for ATL only getting about 18-20 mins a game. Andris garunteed to start.

yeah, but players overseas are idolized. See, Childress will make 21 mil TAX FREE and make a shitload of other money off endorsements. American celebrities get paid a whole lot of money to push foreign products overseas. You spend a couple years over there, stack your chips, and come back to the league.

With Stern and the way he dictates the NBA though, I can see him creating some rule like he did with the kids to where, if a player leaves for some foreign league, he has to wait 5 years to come back to the NBA.

New rumor from a Wolves fan:

Basically the rumor was that we'd be helping in a 3-way trade that gets you guys Josh Smith. We get Belinelli and B Wright, the Hawks get Al Harrington and Rashad McCants and you guys get Josh Smith.

I assume we're in the deal to give the Hawks one of our first rounders since we have 4 next year and you guys just gave one up in the Marcus Williams trade.

I think it's a good trade (not that it's really going to happen). We just signed Morrow, KA, and Maggette. Al wants out anyway. Rambo might don't got it. So basically it would be Wright for J smooth plus we clear out more cap space for Andris.
