belinelli isnt playing in the utah league. yet we still scored 108 points yesterday.

The question remains, is Golden State’s style really that much different than other NBA teams? Let’s examine that question. Over the first six games at the 2008 RMR, no team had yet to put up 100 points until the Warriors arrived. In fact, no team had even managed 90 points and only three teams had managed 80-or-more points.

The Warriors, on the other hand, managed 108 points in a 40 minute contest (eight minutes shorter than a regulation NBA game). And it was a true Warriors’ style game.

Point guard Marcus Williams Marcus Williams , who recently vowed to fight for his minutes after the Nets New Jersey Nets acquired Keyon Dooling, is headed to Golden State for a future first round pick. The trade will be announced later today.

The pick is lottery protected for 2011 – so the Nets get it if the Warriors are in the playoffs. If it goes to 2012, the pick is protected 1-to-11. It’s protected 1-to-10 for 2013. If it is not conveyed by 2013, the Nets s\get second rounders in 2013 and 2015.

how is that the starting lineup, who the fuck is the shooting guard? Neither Jackson or Maggette is a shooting guard and Harrington probably wont be in the starting lineup very long if he even will be

rotations are not set yet but this is what nelson said in an interview before we traded for williams. nellie said he will start jackson at the off guard next to ellis. jackson is a better ball handler and playmaker than maggette. jackson can and will bring the ball up sometimes.

williams has a small chance to start but probably will not. definitely not immediately. he will have to breakout during the season to get some starts.

ellis at the 2 is a bad look for most matchups. we are much stronger with only 1 tiny man on the floor at a time, unless its a good matchup like barbosa or another small guard combo.

williams will help ellis progress into a better point guard and will play at the same time as ellis sometimes.

^^^ the way we've been drafting you could be right. or he could get his shit together and it will be a steal.

altho i did like watson and belinelli for backup point guards williams should help our teams competition at point guard...

the thing i like most about this trade is the fact that now we wont do something stupid for billups or hinrich or w/e other fucked up rumor was talking about for harrington or biedrins
