we are now 40 million under the lux. tax. we are interested in everyone. why not? you figure we need to sign our big 2-3 players which will be around 15-17 mill towards the tax. and that leaves up 20+ million to put ont he table. we can throw money a lot of ways. i just think its gonna need to be a 2-3 player move to replace baron. cause there aint no barons laying in free agency.
we got some room.
but whose out there? billups but thats only good for a year maybee 2 tops. hes old. we got some big talent. more than we've had in awhile. the problem isnt the money but whats available in free agency. brand is solid but hes not going anywhere. hopefully that rookie randolph can develop freakishly like garnett. but we might be rebuilding and drafting a point guard with a lottery next year.

kirk henrich has the only contract in the nba that declines in salary. it goes from 8 million this year to 7 to 6 in the remaining 2 after. thats why they say the bulls may move ben gordon who turned down 50 million max contract last year. trying to avoid further issues with him later cause he wants out.
if this were really hinrichs contract id be a little more open to it... but ur numbers are off
he gets 10 mill this upcoming year then 9.5, 9 and 8
id rather get someone else thats better for cheaper.
carlos arroyo would be dope, hes got handles and dimes. i like harrington too much to trade him for hinrichs weak ass.

id rather just keep harrington and just sign free agents. we got the money. harrington is a beast. he can play 4 or 5 and is still getting better every year. he is the best defender on yao in the league. he bullies the fuck outta yao. gets low and muscles yao off the block.
i'd consider jason williams at pg too. he has a 3pt shot that arroyo doesnt have. and his shot has improved a lot over the years... smarter more consistent... he'd be a good fit for nellie too.

^^^ maggette cant stay with baron and brand... ur trippen. the only way he has anything to do with the clippers is in a sign and trade...
he said today he narrowed down his choices to the spurs and celtics... but they cant offer him more than the mid level exception which he doesnt want...
the only teams that can pay him are the warriors and sixers.... grizzlies got money too but arent interested.
and monta is gonna stay.. he wont have a choice about it... hopefully we can get some players around him so he changes his mind.
