^^That's what I hear if you have a USB camera or the PS3 eye it works much better. I tried the other way using a picture uploading to ea sports world and it made me lookin hella mexican lol, waay off.

But there are some good cabs you can download. I got a perfect michael jackson one, bernard hopkins, and a couple others. Still waiting for the "perfect" mayweather...

ANYBODY PLAY ONLINE YET?
IS IT LAGG?
The online is very good. No lag at all.

@William206,
Yeah that freezing thing was a weird glitch in the demo only. I've played probably 50 fights so far and haven't came across a single glitch.

What's nice about this game is that there are so many different styles of fighting, and it's really noticeable when playing the CPU. You really couldn't know that by playing the demo since we were limitted to hatton and pacquiao. Sometimes you'll fight a brawler, next you fight a counter puncher who hardly throws any punches and waits for you, then counters the shit out of you. Guys that fight from the outside. Guys that get inside. Elusive guys, etc. etc. etc. It's a huge improvement than fight night 3 where basically all CPU opponents fought pretty much the same. And it's challenging too, the CPU will punish you for mistakes. And the CPU is intelligent, they know how to adjust their gameplan as the rounds go on. Or in certain situations, like say you're fighting a counter puncher who doesn't throw much, if he gets you hurt or traps you in the corner, he'll pick up the pace and all of a sudden throw a lot of punches to try and finish you off.

NICE - yeah i used to hate playing button pushers online, now it sounds like the playing field has been leveled.

^ There was a downside to using the buttons, and that is that your hits would all be at the same level damage wise, whereas with the sticks, they can be harder or softer depending on how you moved the stick.

I'm finally getting used to the analogs though.

I might see if I can win locally, lol. fuck it.

Fight Night Round 4 National Tournament
Who doesn’t want $5,000 and a free trip to Vegas? I sure would love them, but unfortunately, I'm not good at Fight Night Round 4. If you are the next coming of Muhammad Ali, in video game form, then you want to read on.

GameStop will be hosting a nationwide Fight Night Round 4 tournament at 2,100 of its retail stores. The grand prize is a free trip to Vegas and five thousand dollars. If this sounds like something you might enjoy, make it to your local Gamestop by 1:30 pm on July 11th to enter. If you become one of 16 regional champions, then you'll be invited to Las Vegas for the championships on August 31st. The grand champion wins the five grand and “a one of a kind championship belt.” I hope it isn’t made of plastic. For more details, check your local GameStop store.

See details on the tournament at GameStop.com/fightnight. Fight Night Round 4 is now available for the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3. http://www.gamingbits.com/content/view/6073/2/

How'd we miss this? In a chat a couple weeks back on IGN, Fight Night Round 4 producer Brian Hayes said that remapping the face buttons to throw punches might be "an option via DLC."

His full reply:

There is no option for face button punching in the final version, but we are investigating providing the option via DLC.

Now, no one said specifically that the face-button option would be paid DLC. But one would have to wonder why EA would give this away for free.

I used the face-button option in Round 3 liberally, as it was the only way for me to get through the damned punching-dummy minigame. Withholding it as an option from Round 4, and hinting that it may come back through DLC doesn't create a lot of gamer goodwill.

In the rest of his answers, Hayes' indicates that a dedicated DLC team will also be whipping up additional boxer customizations, if not real fighters who were not included in the official roster. That's OK. But making people pay or wait for controller schemes is kind of shitty, if not unprecedented.
