i never once said, or predicting SHIT bout my raiders. let alone said they was goin to superbowl or the playoffs.

i know we in a rebuilding stage, and it takes time. we are still gettin our pieces together.

fuck, i just want a .500 season for once. raiders making the playoffs, and superbowl?? that'd be dope as fuck buuuut that is a very unrealistic "statement", just like when the 9er fans say their squad will make it. LOL.

lol. ill make that judgement when the raiders ACTUALLY make the playoffs.

I think if we can stay healthy we can win 7 or 8 games. I think we have the capability of finishing 2nd in the afc west behind the chargers. It'll probably be close between the broncos this season record-wise.

How much truth do you think is in this rumor?

Chargers could center sights on Newberry

The San Diego Chargers are concerned enough about Nick Hardwick not being able to start the season that they are targeting veteran center Jeremy Newberry for a possible signing after June 1, numerous sources confirmed.

No deal is in place, sources said, but the Chargers are the front-runners for Newberry's services.

The Oakland Raiders would be able to keep Newberry from the Chargers by tendering him a contract offer June 1.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------

So what do you think after a stronger then most people thought season in oakland last year do you think there will be enough money to keep him? I know one thing they will over pay once again instead of letting him go to an afc west team. Hopefully they sign him for one more year but not at any eye popping price tag.

shit i would like to meet a raider fan like that, all the ones i know say "this is the year baby" and the talk has already started with "we got russell and mcfadden on offense and hall on defense, we gon smash yadadadada"
you're describing most 9er fans....especially alot of the ones on here.

Come on now Defy... I know you're smarter than that and I am not trying to insult your intelligence but that's a low blow coming from a fellow Raider fan dog. Me and Deebo ain't the same person. Why would I post under 2 names man? WTF? Don't let what these other cats have to say influence the way you think bro.

But anyway, yeah I predicted us to be 11-5 this season. We've seriously upgraded our receiving position. Javon Walker is a true number one receiver. Drew Carter is a speedster and he'll stretch the field, making sure defenses play true. Then we have McFadden, who teams will have to respect because he can take it to the house on any play with his 4.33 speed. So with our offense it'll be like pick your poison.

And as far as our defense is concerned...we probably have the best CB tandem in the league. We've upgraded at safety so Huff can be moved to free. If our defensive tackles can somehow step up and control the line of scrimmage look out.... With all these free agent upgrades the expectations in Oakland are high. Kiffin and Al know it... the whole team know.
Tony, it was a joke. I know you aren't Deebo, you know shit about football and pay attention, you're just a little over zealous with alot of your shit. 11-5? that's high. don't get me wrong, I'd love to see that, but its still high. I think we can win a good 7 or 8 games this season, and that would be a vast improvement than the last 4 or 5 seasons. we have weapons on both the offense & defense, but the question still remains: how will our linemen perform? we have big question marks on pass blocking and run stuffing. if our lines step up we can have a great year.

actually, the bigger question is why the fuck is my arm randomly bleeding right now????

It's all good Defy! Yeah I'll admit I am a little over zealous but I do believe winning 11 games is possible so I gotta go with that prediction... Our lines gotta step up especially our d-line (with Sapp retiring). I think our success will mostly depend on Javon Walker's health.

youve yet to see how your qb plays.....how can you make an assumption like that with everything on your team being a big ass question mark save for your cbs/lbs.....everything else is up in the air whether they perform or not....
