It was a self-destructive mob culture, now it's party music that white suburbia can enjoy. I'd rather stay detached as of now and represent for my real Town cats instead of this so-called "Bay shit" that the rappers try and flip. I love this city, niggas is trend setters, so I have to rep my city instead of following the trend of repping the Bay. I been reppin Oakland for ages, why stop now? Much love to the East Bay though which I can rep with more confidence, Berkeley, Richmond, Hayward, all that shit. Cities that i know my way around.

I couldnt have said any better myself... But I still love that West bay - Frisco is fuckin huslin (I would get lost in Frisco honestly though)... But like you said, i know jus about every nookNcranny out here in this Town... But anyways, townbusiness!

oakland is pretty much the brooklyn of ny to the bay. the grimiest/livest city out here. just like how most brooklyn mcs rather rep bk instead of the whole nyc cause bk got a whole nother vibe to the city. oakland as a city is different from every other city in the bay, theres like an oakland culture. same with san fran. usually people who rep "the entire bay" are some redwood city, san mateo, daly city ass cats. fuck your city. SF

there is nothing thats really crackin about vallejo. answer the question what pops off in vallejo?.....................nothing, its just a boring ass city where e-40 and mac dres from. cities like vallejo and fairfield really havent earned there respect to me. until those niggaz invent something that they didn't see niggaz in the town doing, or niggaz in richmond doing, or niggaz in the sco doing then they'll earn respect. cause really those niggaz dont have they own identity. them niggaz is just copycattin shit from the town to the sco and saying "yeah its bay shit." Cause in reality them niggaz have to drive a long distance to come party with us. tho sco is right across the bridge and the rich is right here. So the morale of the story is VALLEJO niggaz and FAIRFIELD niggaz, PLEASE BRING YOUR IDENITIES TO THE TABLE, IF U WANNA GET HYPHY WITH US INVENT SOME NEW SHIT AND THEN WE MIGHT RESPECT IT CAUSE YALL NIGGAZ IS COPYCATTER ASS NIGGAZ!!

it's a way for cats from non respectable areas to slide in and try and be front and center. by saying they rep the bay they can get a pass. if you from milpitas or west san lorenzo, you know you automatically got to prove yourself, so you hide behind 'bay this' and 'bay that'
