Well let me point out the difference between you and me. I don't claim that Bay Area music is the best just because I'm from the Bay. But if I wanted to, I would have a 100 times better argument for why the Bay is the best than you could have for why the NW is the best. This is a juvenile ass argument, which is why I said this thread was pointless to begin with.

they're makin money but NOT from their music. i'll put money on that.

there are very few artists in the NW who actually MAKE money on their albums and I don't mean, they break even.....I mean MAKE CHIPS.

I'll bet that 90% of artists barely break even and that's as far as they go.

The NW has talent, but half of them are fucking schmucks, a quarter are just lazy, and the other quarter just don't get shine cause of the other 75% of idiots around here.....

there's only 5-8 artists/groups that deserve anything from thsi region.

don't get me wrong, the artists that i like, i think they're dope as fuck and are killing anyone from any other region.

but i don't think all of the nw kills everywhere else.

i mean, i'd listen to Byron Douglas or SYKO over any Bay artist any day of the year..hell, I'd listen to BD over almost any artists out there as far as rap goes....new shit is killing everything in the nw in my opinion.

i still fail to understand the point in arguing about opinions.

most people in a region will support "their" artsits....that's very apparent in this thread...and it's a good thing, the "fans" or listeners are at least somewhat loyal.

maybe it's the same for cats in the bay looking at NW artists....but when i listen to bay shit, i honestly think it's some of the worst music i've ever heard. FAB and all them hyphy cats and Thizz is GARBAGE. Balance is the only good artists from there in my opinion....as far as Sac....well, it was good when lynch and luni and killa tay were around makin moves.....not so much anymore in my opinion.....

and you can credit a NW artist/producer for some of Mac Dre's "thizz hits." including THIZZ DANCE......you know, Syko produced that.
